The students were felicitated by ace Philanthropist & Chairman - Wipro Limited Shri Azim Premji during a ceremony at Wipro's Bengaluru Campus.

Diwakar Arodiya, Siddharth Singh Tomar, Nitesh Singh and Sharad Iyer from Amity Institute of Biotech (AIB) were the part of the proud winning team which competed with the teams from 1000+ universities.

Amity University Madhya Pradesh organized a two day national conference on the paramount topic of communication network and cyber security where Several respected speakers coming from esteemed institutions throughout the country enlightened the students on the topic.

Amity University Madhya Pradesh conducted a National Seminar on “Communication, Networks and Cyber Security: 13 – 14 April 2016”. Lt Gen SP Kochhar, AVSM**, SM, VSM (Retd), Former Signal Officer – in – Chief and CEO of Telecom Sector Skill Council was the Chief Guest during the Inaugural Session.
A large number of students and delegates from all over the country presented their research papers and were involved in the poster presentation sessions.
Research Papers were published in an Abstract book and a CD, which were released during the Inaugural Session.
Lt Gen Vk Sharma ( Vice Chancellor AUMP ) graced this ocassion with his presence.

The ASET TIMES "THE ASET TIMES" is a monthly e-newspaper focusing on research and innovation .

We conducte a Debate Competition for First Year Students on three topics viz. " India is becoming an Intolerant Nation", "Creative Artists should have Unlimited Freedom" and " Advertising Creates Artificial Needs" At the end of the event, the topics were put to vote, and the result, as expected, was that the first and second motions were defeated and the third motion was passed !! We were particularly relieved when majority of the students voted that india is NOT an Intolerant Nation !! The views of our youth are important afterall.

Amity University Madhya Praqdesh has two units of NSS volunteers with a strength of 200 each. A NSS camp was organised in respect of selected volunteers, who did social service by educating certain sections of society regarding child labour / child abuse, hygiene for women, educating the girl child, women empowerment etc.

I visited the camp and interacted with the students encouraging free exchange of ideas. A few pictures are being posted

Learning should not be limited to class rooms alone. A two day tech-festival conducted in the University on 25-26 February, gave an excellent opportunity to students to combine fun with talent and learning . A host of competitions to include Quiz Competition, Robotics, Model Making, Collage Making, Nukkad Natak, Fun Zone, Gaming, Web Designing, Treasure Hunt, Costume Designing, Poster Designing , Rangoli Competition, Band Competition, Solo /Group Dance Competition etc were conducted.

The enthusiasm among the youth was unprecedented and the participation was much beyond the expectations of the organisers.

Of particular interest was ”Nukkad Natak” competition, in which a few contemporary themes like tolerance for gay/lesbian/transgenders, safety of women and true meaning of freedom & liberty were presented by the students.

I can say with conviction that majority of our youth is seized with the problems facing the society, thinks in the right direction, and will make all Indians proud, in times to come.
