A one-day demo session on "Trends & Practices in Computer Aided Design and Analysis in Civil Engineering" was organized by the Team CivilEPOCH IE(I) with the collaboration of CADD Center on May 21, 2024. The session is more than simply a demo; it's an excellent primer of software for all civil engineers.

The session commenced with insightful facilitation by an expert speaker and director, Mr. Sandip Banerjee, along with engaging Mr. Sanjib Kr. Saha and Mr. Ritam Maity, led by Assoc. Prof. Ajit Paria and Mr. Sridhaneel Mishra. The event was further energized by the inspiring words of the Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Sasank Sekhar Hota.

The event was an eye-opener for all participants, increasing our understanding of the magic of CAD software, Revit, etc., and how this software simplifies the work for civil engineers. We explored how these tools bring complex designs into reality with precision and efficiency.

At last, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, faculty members, the CADD Center team, and all the members of Team CivilEPOCH who made this event an astounding success.

Bharat Mala Pariyojana is an infrastructure development project introduced by the government of India in 2017, aiming to build a network of highways and improve road connectivity in India.

This project conceives development of about 34800 km of economic corridors covering the Golden Quadrilateral, North-South, and East-West corridors. It will significantly reduce travel time and travel costs.

One of the biggest Hindu festivals, Maha Shivratri, also called the Great Night of Shiva, is observed yearly in remembrance of Lord Shiva, one of the main gods in Hinduism. The Hindu lunar month of Phalguna, or Maagha, has the festival on the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight.

Maha Shivratri is a very important religious and spiritual holiday for Lord Shiva's followers. It is thought to be the day that Lord Shiva executed the creation, preservation, and destruction cosmic dance. On this day, devotees fast, pray, and practice meditation in an effort to obtain blessings, spiritual development, and release from the cycle of life and death.

There are a number of myths surrounding Maha Shivratri. It is said by many to be the day that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. According to a different tale, it marks the day that Lord Shiva ate the poison, Halahala, that surfaced from Samudra Manthan's churning of the ocean, sparing the universe from obliteration.

In general, millions of devotees gather on Maha Shivratri to celebrate the grandeur of Lord Shiva and to ask for his divine blessings for their spiritual development and well-being. It is a holy and beautiful celebration.
