The Oxford School celebrated World Earth Day 2024 in classes 3rd and 4th with the activity "Planter made from Coconut shell".

Happy Baisakhi to all😊
Baisakhi a popular spring festival that marks the first day of the month of Vaisakh, is celebrated with much enthusiasm among Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist communities. It is the beginning of the Punjabi and Sikh New Year which is celebrated across India especially in Punjab and northern India. The day marks the beginning of the harvest season and is the occasion to share the joy among community members. On Baisakhi, people from Sikh community visit local Gurudwaras and participate in langar, preparation of food and distributing them. For many members, Baisakhi is the day to worship the 'Waheguru' (the divine being) and meditate.

The first day of preschool is a chance to care for children 🧒👧 who may have anxiety about being separated from their families. Comfort them by acknowledging their feelings, creating a calm down corner, or practicing deep breathing exercises.
Children brought a comfort item from home and create a family photo wall to help them feel more comfortable in the classroom and look forward to learning and spending time at preschool.
