Hlc 45 is blessed with many doctors as tablers & circlers so we celebrated doctors day with a bang.
Cake cutting , snacks & momentous were given to all the doctors of the club.

In 2023, Muharram commenced on Wednesday, 19th July 2023. The 10th day of Muharram known as Ashura will be observed tomorrow, on July 29, 2023. Muharram holds an immense importance among Muslims. This day commemorates the death of the prophet Muhammed's grandson, Hussein Ibn Ali.

Kargil Vijay Diwas (Hindi: कारगिल विजय दिवस, lit. Kargil Victory Day) is celebrated every 26 July in India, to observe India's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War for ousting Pakistani Forces from their occupied positions on the mountain tops of Northern Kargil District in Ladakh in 1999 . Initially, the Pakistani army denied their involvement in the war, claiming that it was caused by Kashmiri military forces. However documents left behind by casualties, testimony of POWs and later statements by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Army Chief of Army Staff Pervez Musharraf showed the involvement of Pakistani paramilitary forces, led by General Ashraf Rashid.

Traditionally, the festival is celebrated by Buddhists in honor of the Buddha, who gave his first sermon on this day at Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, India. In the yogic tradition, the day is celebrated as the occasion when Shiva became the first guru, as he began the transmission of Yoga to the Saptarishis.

Project: Inauguration of toilet blocks (Area initiative). Total cost:27000. We HLC 45 along with the support of area initiative , repaired and Inaugurated 2 toilet blocks at kalghatgi girls school in the presence of National President LMF Cr. Anchal khullar,National Project convener Tr.Manoj Bansali,ACP area 10 LMF Cr. We HLC45 along with HCLC 71 and a grant of 50000/- from LC India were able to help a 5 year old to girl child having a hole in her heart.
It was a PDA closure surgery and a stent has been put to close the hole, she can now lead a normal life.
We would like to thank Dr Arun Narayan SDM hospital, our IPAC Nisha shah, APC kiran tenginkai and Fellow CP Pooja Mahajan to be present for the project.And thank NP LMF Cr.Anchal khullar and Shruti and National Project convenors Cr.Farheen Cr Manpreet n Cr.Nupur for great initiation and Grant.
We would also thank our Cr.Anuli n Pavan Vernekar and Chairman of HRT 37 Tr. Vinay kubsadgoudar for their generous contribution towards this kind gesture.
Some projects always stay close to your heart and this will be to us as we will never be able to forget the Twinkle in the toddlers eyes which we could save.

How to make a beautiful lantern @ home
Pictures from top to down clockwise.
1)Take the materials described earlier.
2)Take around 10 small squares n glue the opposite ends together
3)stick these forms onto a color A4 sheet in the centre like shown in the pic.
5) take another color A4 leave a space of 2 cm n draw multiple lines with a spacing of 1.5 cm. 6)cut along lines.
7)join it to the previously made color sheet. Arch n join 2 ends. Decorate with glitter. 8) Hang it with loop n lights.....lantern is ready.
