On a more serious note, if you think this way, you have a self esteem problem that you are comparing yourself with the rest of the world and wishing to be unique.
Each one of us is unique. Believe that. You have different fingerprints, right? ;-)
You need more proof? :P
Be yourself. Fulfil your purpose in life.
Your are unique.
'Toxicity' is worse than 'absent'.
Absent, is a verifiable fact.
Toxicity is a perception.
Instead of making it a 'man' vs. 'woman' thing, let's talk about good parenting which includes lack of toxicity and full presence in parental and spousal relationships too.
When you know you have led a rockin' life learning and enthusing others to learn.

My first attempt at rockclimbing was in 2017. I used my arms more than I did my legs and i found it tiring. When I figured out some techniques, using my knowledge from swimming, horse riding and other sports I do, the interdisciplinary approach made all the difference ❤
Sharing the video of my first attempt at age 47 here:

So I'm putting together a list of simple tips for you.
Most importantly
1. Ensure your safety and feel safe. Wear proper gear, and safety gear too.
2. Enjoy the experience knowing you are truly safe. You can't learn if your mind is frozen with fear or crippled by anxiety.
3. Be open to learning. When you are feeling safe and enjoying the experience, your mind automatically opens up to the learning.
4. Deep breathe and oxygenate well. Stay focussed 😛
For *rock climbing*:
1. Use 4 points of contact (2 feet, 2 hands) and move 1 at a time, for safety and a better climb until you can do it differently)
2. Stay perpendicular to the rock surface. (If you curve your body and/or stick your butt out, gravity pulls it down and increases the stress on you to climb up)
3. Push with your legs instead of pulling with your arms. (Your legs have stronger muscles and are used to the weight)
4. Point your toes sideways along the rock surface (charlie chaplin eeestyle 😛 )

2021 Video of my rappelling down and then climbing up the rock surface at khaja guda
For *rappelling*:
1. Be perpendicular to the rock surface
2. Walk down or kick with both legs and bounce off the rock surface
3. Keep your legs straight. Have soft knees, not locked knees. Dont bend your knees.
4. Keep the soles of your feet flat agaist the rock surface
5. Look upwards and enjoy the sky ❤
For *commando rappelling*:
1. Keep the soles of your feet flat agaist the rock surface
2. Keep your legs straight. Have soft knees, not locked knees. Dont bend your knees.
3. Keep your upper torso in line with your hips and feet. My legs were lower than my torso and hence I slipped in the video.
4. Feel safe that your harness and belay rope will protect you as will your technique. Avoid the panic (as you are looking downwards and can see the ground) by concentrating on the techniques you are using and trust yourself and your instructor.

Doing both for the first time!
where i lost my footing and recovered
And Climbing up the rock surface at Khajaguda
I am almost 52, and have an ankle dorsiflexion limitation
If I can do this, I believe anyone can.
For *chimneying*:
1. Press your back to one rock surafce and your feet / hands against the opposing rock surface, the two rock surfaces forming a chimney.
2. Use all your points of contact and slide upwards.
3. Don't release pressure against either of the rock surfaces.

A video of my learning how to Chimney down at Khaja guda rocks.
requires a a slightly different skill set than chimneying up, just the way rappelling requires a different skill set than climbing up

The first time I tried to climb this rock surface in Feb or March 2021, I couldn't. My second painstaking attempt in August, 2021 yielded results. 😛

Learning to rappel without a harness, helmet or gloves seems to be a bad idea to some but I was learning rock climbing and rappelling as a life skill. You don't always have equipment on you. But you always have 'yourself'.
