Attention all Medical Symposium participants!
Crafting an abstract isn't just a step, it's the foundation of your presentation. Learn how to write abstracts that captivate and stand out , while securing your spot in the symposium lineup.

RULES FOR ABSTRACT WRITING:

1)Each team should select a MEDICALLY relevant research topic and complete literature review, study design, data collection and analysis.
2) Each teams must send in the abstracts of not more than 1500 words (From Title to the References) before the deadline (i.e, August 22nd ) in the form of a Word document (.doc or .docx). Any abstracts submitted beyond this deadline will not be screened for presentation in prelims.
3) The abstract should contain the following in the order:
a) Title of Symposium.
b) Team member information, each in the following format:
i) Name of the student:
ii) Registration Number:
iii) Designation: Speaker/Techie/Researcher or a combination thereof.
iv) College/Institute:
c) Title of the Research abstract, along with the name of the principal investigator, guide (with
designation) and co-author, if any.
d) Introduction and Background of the Study.
e) Aims and Objectives.
f) Materials and Methods. (including selection criteria).
g) Statistical Analysis
h) References (in APA format)
