యూట్యూబ్ న్యూస్ చానల్స్ గుర్తింపు అక్రిడిటేషన్ల జారీ, తదితరాలకు, నియమ నిబంధనలు, అనుసరించాల్సిన విధివిధానాలపై, తెలంగాణ మీడియా అకాడమీ సోమవారం హోటల్ టూరిజం ప్లాజా లో చైర్మన్ కే. శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి అధ్యక్షతన నిర్వహించిన రౌండ్ టేబుల్ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్న ప్రముఖ సంపాదకులు, సీనియర్ జర్నలిస్టులు, యూట్యూబ్ చానెల్స్ నిర్వాహకులు పలు సూచనలు చేశారు.రౌండ్ టేబుల్ సమావేశంలో దాదాపు 50 మంది సీనియర్ జర్నలిస్టులు, సంపాదకులు,యూట్యూబ్ ఛానల్ ప్రతినిధులు వాటి వ్యవస్థాపకులు హాజరయ్యారు. పత్రికలకు ఆర్ఎన్ఐ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్, టీవీ చానల్స్ కు మినిస్ట్రీ ఆఫ్ ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్ & బ్రాడ్కాస్టింగ్ గుర్తింపు, కంపెనీ ఆక్ట్ కింద నమోదు కావటం యూట్యూబ్ న్యూస్ చానెల్స్ కి కూడా అవసరమని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. న్యూస్ వెబ్సైట్లకి కూడా అలాంటి నియమనిబంధనలే ఉన్నాయన్నది గుర్తు చేశారు. యూట్యూబ్ ఛానల్స్ గుర్తింపుకు అనుసరించాల్సిన అంశాల పై ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సుదీర్ఘ చర్చ జరిగింది. ఈ విషయాలు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం పరిధిలోని అంశాలు అయినందున వాటిని అమలుపర్చాల్సిన కర్తవ్యం యూట్యూబ్ చానెల్స్ పై ఉందని సమావేశం అభిప్రాయబడింది. అకాడమీ ఇలాంటి సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేయడం పట్ల సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్న వాళ్ళందరూ హర్షం వెలిబుచ్చారు. ఇంకా దీనిపై నిర్దిష్ట చర్యలు జరపడానికి మరిన్ని చర్చలు జరపాలని, రౌండ్ టేబుల్ లో పాల్గొన్న వారు అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. ఇలాంటి కార్యక్రమాల నిర్వహణలో ఇది మొదటిదని మీడియా అకాడమీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. ఈ అంశం పై ఇంకా లోతైన చర్చ జరగాల్సి ఉందన్నారు.

భావస్వేచ్ఛకు ఉన్న పరిమితులకు లోబడి, జర్నలిజం వృత్తికి అనుగుణంగా, ఎప్పటికప్పుడు వార్తలు, చర్చా గోష్టిలు, ఇంటర్వ్యూలు, ప్రత్యేక కథనాలు ప్రసారం చేస్తున్న యూట్యూబ్ సంస్థలను మాత్రమే మీడియా సంస్థలుగా గుర్తించవచ్చనే అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తం అయ్యింది. సబ్ స్కయిబర్స్, వ్యూస్ ని ప్రధాన క్రైటేరియగా తీసుకోరాదని, ఎందుకంటే అంగట్లో సరుకుల్లాగా వాటి విక్రయం జరుగుతుందని పలువురు అభిప్రాయ పడ్డారు. వ్యక్తిగత ఎజెండాలతో, ద్వేషాలతో, కక్ష్యపూరిత ధోరణులతో, సమాజాన్ని తప్పు ద్రోవ పట్టించే వైఖరితో ప్రసారాలు చేస్తున్న వారిని పరిగణలోకి తీసుకోకపోవడం మంచిదనే అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తం అయ్యింది.
ఎలాంటి చట్టబద్దత లేకుండా యూట్యూబ్ ప్లాట్ ఫామ్ లు సృష్టించి, హద్దు అదుపు లేకుండా చెలామణి అవుతున్న వారికి గుర్తింపు ఇవ్వడం ద్వారా మీడియా వ్యవస్థకు మచ్చ కలుగుతుందని, ఇందుకుగాను సంస్థ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్, లేబర్ లైసెన్స్, పోస్టల్ లైసెన్స్, ట్రేడ్ మార్క్ లైసెన్స్, జిఎస్టీ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్, కార్యాలయ నిర్వహణ తీరు, సిబ్బంది తదితర అంశాలను పరిశీలించాలనే అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తం అయ్యింది. యూట్యూబర్స్ చేస్తున్న ప్రసారాలు జర్నలిజం నైతిక ప్రమాణాలకు కట్టుబడి ఉండాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంటుందనే అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తం అయ్యింది.
