Srishti's Mukhe Bhaat, meaning Srishti's annaprashan or rice eating ceremony. An eggless vanilla cake, soaked with the rasmalai milk, layered with whipped cream, rasmalai and pistachios and frosted with eggless IMBC. This heat is killing and once the toppers are placed, the cake needs the airconditioning more than me. An expensive deal indeed! 😁 The toppers are all edible representing all that is required to bless and feed the baby.

This, I think, till date, has been my toughest assignment! A 5 year old and the request I received was crazy to say the least! Peppa and family, a sintex tank, an atomberg fan, loves his juice from the Lassi Shop and all the danger and road signs that he sees on his road journey from Bangalore to Hyderabad; all had to be incorporated into the cake. No easy task that😂 The cake itself is an eggless vanila cake, layered with hazelnut mousse and chopped hazelnut praline. It is frosted with white ganache. Glad the cake and toppers met with the approval of my young client.

Christmas is not over as yet. Tried my hand at the Kerala Christmas cake (eggless version).
