"Tawaf al-Ifadah" (also known as "Tawaf al-Ziyarah") is one of the essential rites of Hajj, the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca. It is performed on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, which is known as Eid al-Adha or the Day of Sacrifice.

Here's a brief overview of Tawaf al-Ifadah:

1. **Timing**: It is performed after the pilgrims have completed the rituals at Mina on the Day of Sacrifice (10th of Dhu al-Hijjah).

2. **Purpose**: Tawaf al-Ifadah signifies the completion of the major rites of Hajj and is an essential part of the pilgrimage. It symbolizes the spiritual return to the Kaaba and the reaffirmation of one's faith and commitment to God.

3. **Procedure**: Pilgrims perform Tawaf al-Ifadah by circling the Kaaba seven times in a counterclockwise direction, just as they did during the initial Tawaf upon arrival in Mecca. It is one of the essential rituals of Hajj, along with other rites like Sa'i (walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah) and standing at Arafat.

4. **Significance**: This Tawaf is considered crucial as it marks the pilgrim's spiritual rebirth and a renewed commitment to God after completing the physically demanding rituals of Hajj.

In essence, Tawaf al-Ifadah is a deeply symbolic and spiritually significant act performed by pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage, reinforcing their faith and devotion to Islam.

About The "Jamarat" refers to the ritual of stoning the three pillars in Mina, Saudi Arabia, during the Hajj pilgrimage. This ritual is a significant part of the Hajj and takes place on the days of Eid al-Adha (the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah), as well as the two or three days following it.

Here's a brief overview of the process:

Location: The Jamarat are three pillars (or walls) located in Mina, near Mecca. They represent the locations where Satan is believed to have attempted to dissuade Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) from obeying God's command to sacrifice his son, Isma'il (Ishmael).

Stoning Ritual: Pilgrims throw pebbles or small stones at each of the three pillars, representing their rejection of Satan's influence and their commitment to resisting temptation, as Prophet Ibrahim did.

Timing: The stoning ritual typically begins after midday on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah (the third day of Hajj) and continues over the next two or three days. Pilgrims must complete the stoning of each pillar once per day, starting with the largest pillar known as Jamrat al-Aqabah.

Symbolism: The stoning ritual symbolizes the pilgrim's defiance of evil, obedience to God's commandments, and the rejection of Satan's temptations.

Safety Measures: Due to the large number of pilgrims participating in this ritual, safety measures are in place to ensure that the stoning is done in an orderly manner to prevent accidents.
