The Daly College is a co-educational residential and day boarding school located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded by Sir Henry Daly of the British Indian Army during India's colonial British Raj.
The 52nd MP State Aquatics Championship
2024-25 was held from 10th June to 13th June 2024 at Taran Pushkar, Gwalior (MP). 5 swimmers from DC participated in the competition, namely-
Abeer Singh Mehta,
Kshaunish Satsangi,
Ruchir Thatte,
Sarah Wilson and
Manaswini Thatte.They won a total of 20 medals, consisting of 11 Gold, 5 Silver and 4 Bronze.
Sarah Wilson won 2 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze and Manaswini Thatte won 1 Silver & 3 Bronze medals.
Abeer Singh Mehta became the first ever Dalian to win the Individual Championship Trophy for the Group - 1 Boys category and won 9 Gold & 3 Silver medals.

The 52th Indore Open District Swimming Championship took place on the 1st & 2nd June at the Taran Pushkar Swimming Pool . 23 Dalians took part in this meet.They won a whopping 40 medals which included 8 gold,17 silver and 15 bronze medals and 7 swimmers got selected for the State Level Aquatic Championship. The winners are as follows:

On Saturday, the city of Indore came alive with the thunderous roar of Harley-Davidson engines as the Tiger Chapter hosted the spectacular Eastern HOG Rally 2024, themed "Ride as One." This exhilarating event is one of the four major zonal rides on the HOG India calendar.
Riders from across the country gathered for this grand occasion, with about 250 passionate Harley-Davidson enthusiasts participating. The journey commenced from the luxurious Hotel Essentia and concluded at the prestigious Daly College, creating a breathtaking parade of Harley-Davidson motorcycles through the streets of Indore.
The rally aimed to celebrate and promote a culture of safe and responsible riding. Participants proudly showcased their commitment to proper riding gear and strict adherence to safety protocols, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and adventure that defines the Harley Owners Group (HOG).President BOG, Principal and member BOG from 2 (b)2 category and ODA received the magnific riders and felicitated them.
The RS Conference in the UK was hosted from May 30th to June 3rd at The Samworth Church Academy in Mansfield, England. It welcomed delegates aged 11-14 from 14 schools across nine countries. Six students from Daly College, along with their teacher, participated in this event. The theme of the conference was "A Bushcraft Odyssey."
The conference began with an ice-breaking session and a tour of the academy, followed by a coach ride to the Bushcraft Center in North Yorkshire. Over the course of three days, students learned various bushcraft skills, including different methods of making fire, starting a fire using flint and steel, practicing wilderness first aid, managing food in remote areas, and making hot chocolate and marshmallows around the campfire. They also engaged in activities such as camouflaging and concealment. Additionally, the students enjoyed challenging games such as Wink Murder, Beat Master, Predator, and Mafia. These activities were not only enjoyable but also helped enhance their independence, teamwork, confidence, and self-reliance.
The delegates spent two nights in bell tents at the Bushcraft camp and one night at The Samworth Church Academy. The event concluded with a dance party at the host school, providing a fun and memorable end to the conference.
After the conference, the delegates spent two days in London exploring popular tourist attractions. They returned to India with fond memories, immense learning, and new friends from around the world.

In a remarkable effort to reconnect with our distinguished alumni and celebrate the school's progress, the organizing committee hosted a dinner and gathering at the picturesque Desai Lake. This event saw a vibrant assembly of senior Old Dalians who enthusiastically joined the movement, reaffirming their ties to our cherished institution and contributing to its future growth.Principal , Dr Gunmeet Bindra gave a vivid description of the accomplishments and rolled out the plans for the coming years.
INVITATIONAL INDORE DISTRICT SWIMMING COMPETITION – 28/05/2024
The 1st police open swimming competition was held at Taran Tairaki Parisar, R.A.P.T.C. Indore on the 28th of May 2024. Nearly 200 swimmers from all over Indore took part in this competition. Total of 22 students representing the Daly College swimming team participated. The team won a total of 14 medals (4 Gold, 7 Silver, 3 Bronze)

The Open India Air Pistol, Air Rifle, and Shotgun Shooting Competition was held at the Infantry School in Mhow from May 21 to 27, 2024. Samarath Shrivastava, a student of Daly College, achieved remarkable success, winning a total of four medals. He secured three gold medals in the sub-youth, youth, and junior categories, and one silver medal in the senior category.
Daly College emerged victorious in the IPSC Tennis Championship, conquering the Girls Under-12 category. The prestigious tournament featured elite schools from across the country, including YPS Mohali, YPS Patiala, Genesis, RKKs Jodhpur, Modern Barakhamba, and Sanskar. Daly College's winning team consisted of Aanya Rathi, Aahna Doshi, and Anaya Patwari. The trio showcased exceptional talent, with Aanya and Aahna playing pivotal roles by winning all their matches without dropping a set throughout the championship. Their impressive performance led Daly College to clinch the team title.In the thrilling final, Daly College faced the host school, Genesis. Despite stiff competition, Daly College's team spirit and determination prevailed, securing victory. Aanya Rathi's individual brilliance further contributed to Daly College's success. Competing in a draw of 32 talented players, Aanya secured a well-deserved silver medal. The boys' team from Daly College also secured a bronze medal in their category, with team members Arjun Bindra, Samanyu Shukla, and Vivaan Tomar. Vivaan Singh Tomar was adjudged the most promising player in the boys' category.
The Indore Management Association organised an exclusive session with renowned actor Manoj Bajpayee . It was a well attended forum comprising members of IMA and some invited distinguished guests. Mr Akhilesh Rathi , President and Old Dalian Mr Ashwin Palsikar, Secretary had an interesting interaction with the star who also regaled the audience with a lovely rendition of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s “ Rashmirathi”. There is also excitement aplenty for his upcoming film “ Bhaiyaji”.
The Board of Governors, Daly College, felicitated Mr Harpal Singh Bhatia( member 2b(2) category of the board, for being appointed as Trustee Secretary & Member at Shri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Punjab. Mr Bhatia has been a dedicated soul for many leading educational institutions of the country.
After toiling hard on the Squash courts, it was time for the Indigo pilots to relax by the side of the Desai Lake in gorgeous surroundings and also to get honoured for their performance on the courts on the day as well as for their duties during the year. It was gratifying to hear Capt Ashim Mittra, Senior Vice President, flight operations, Indigo, eulogising Daly College for its grandeur and cordiality. Principal, Dr Gunmeet Bindra reciprocated the gesture by applauding Indigo’s grand gesture of gracing the majestic venue.
Earlier the President and colleague board members welcomed the senior officials of Indigo at Durbar Hall.
The air crackles with anticipation at the Daly College Squash courts, where the Indigo Pilots' Squash Championship is unfolding with vibrant energy and unwavering sporting passion. Here, amidst the sleek confines of our alluring courts, 63 of India's finest pilots, representing 12 illustrious teams, have descended, accompanied by their esteemed senior officials. As the pulsating matches unfold, the air is alive with the echo of swift racquets and the thunderous applause of spectators. The visiting players and aficionados alike find themselves enraptured by the unparalleled hospitality and magnificence that Daly College is renowned for.
Royal Garha Cup Squash Championship 2024 was organised by Garha Golf Club, Indore. A total of107 Squash players from 11 institutions of Indore participated in this tournament —-namely Daly College, Emerald
Heights, Shishukunj, NDPS, Yeshwant Club, Abhay Prashal, DPS Rau,
IIM, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Choithram School and Royal Garha
Golf Club.
The Championship Trophy was won by Daly College.The prizes were presented to the winners by Shri Harshvardhan Singh Purni ,Bursar, Daly College.

The All India Championship Series Tennis Tournament concluded yesterday at Daly College.The closing and prize distribution ceremony were graced by the President of the Madhya Pradesh Tennis Association, Mr. Aneil Mahajan.
Dalian,Vaidehi Shukla emerged victorious in both the Singles and Doubles categories. Aanya Rathi, another Dalian, won the Doubles title and finished runner-up in Singles. Congratulations to the emerging players on their good show!!
