It is to be noted that the award for the Best Researcher was based not only on the Researcher's Test but also on the scores of the memorials, reflecting that apart from getting the highest score in the researcher's test , the team also scored the second highest marks for the memorial.

It was a day of excitement and high energy as the Moot Court Committee of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur welcomed participants from far and wide for the much-anticipated NHRC-DNLU National Moot Court Competition.
The day began with a buzz of activity as the participants arrived on campus and completed the registration process.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Honourable Prof (Dr.) V. Nagaraj, and the Registrar Prof (Dr.) Shailesh N. Hadli graced the inaugural ceremony with their presence, making the day even more special.
After the ceremony, the participants were treated to a high tea. Later, the researchers' test that followed, was a real test of their knowledge and the competition was already heating up!
The highlight of the day was the announcement of the fixtures. The last event of the day was the memorial exchange, where participants got to showcase their skills and knowledge.
In conclusion, Day One of the NHRC-DNLU National Moot Court Competition was a huge succes with full of excitement and the Moot Court Committee is already gearing up for another fantastic day!

We are overjoyed to announce that the tournament received a record-breaking 42 registrations. It was challenging to select the top 20 memorials from all of them, but our knowledgeable judges took on the challenge and carefully assessed each one to select the best among the rest. The learned judges selected the shortlisting entries based on how well they exemplified the entry requirements.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who expressed interest in competing in the competition, and the MCC at DNLU welcomes all the qualifying teams for the eagerly anticipated oral rounds.

Competition 2023 is set to bring together the brightest legal minds from 42 universities across the country. These teams have worked tirelessly to prepare for this event, and we can't wait to see the quality of arguments and advocacy skills they bring to the table.
The competition will be held at the prestigious Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur and will be organized by the Moot Court Committee of the university. This competition provides a platform for law students to showcase their skills and knowledge, and is an excellent opportunity for them to learn from their peers and gain valuable experience.

Extending the objective of dissemination of Human Rights awareness, in light of current global issues, the moot proposition for the Competition revolves around Technology Law and Humanitarian Law along with other related aspects.

The Moot Court Committee of DNLU would like to take the opportunity to express its heartfelt gratitude towards and for sharing their fine skills with the students in the Workshop on Research Skills.
It is only through their dexterity that the session could become fruitful.
Researching and drafting are quintessential skills of mooting. A student must excel in both these skills to win Moot Court competitions and thereby survive in law school.
Hence, to augment researching fervour in the students, the Moot Court Committee is organising "A Workshop on Research Skills."
This workshop is specially aimed to assist the Sophomore and the Fresher batches to acquaint them with Moot Court related research and methods as well as with certain effective memorial drafting practices.
With an aim to prepare the students for various Moot Court Competitions of National and and International repute, the Moot Court Committee of Dharmashastra National Law University has successfully conducted the 4th edition of our Intra Moot Court Competition.
With this a fresh pool of mooters will be constituted for the current academic year.
The Moot Court Committee of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, successfully conducted the Orientation Session for the Batch of 2027, along with a doubt-clearing session. The inquisitiveness, shown by the newest batch of DNLU, towards mooting was commendable and it fostered some productive interaction.
