Our second year at CARe culminates with our outreach for persons in underprivileged areas.

The nature of addiction as a disease affecting the family becomes clear in the pictures where children and women come to seek help for the men in the family.

The ‘opportunity to experience boredom’ is what our children miss in this world where they are over stimulated. ‘Act today, and actualise tomorrow’ is the patience we need to interact and invest our time in children. It was a fruitful interaction with an interested audience comprising of nearly 200 students and faculty at campus.
Kudos to faculty of Business Management and especially Durgesh Batra Ji for excellent organisation. A fitting culmination with a toast at the ‘mocktail festival’ of Amity Hospitality management school.

CARe- Centre for Addiction Recovery at RHL is going good at 1 year. Its the outcome of the effort of our entire team at CARe. We move towards the coming year with an emboldened resolve to help more patients and their family with our dedicated services.

Looking back at my professional journey, I am especially grateful to my teachers at PGIMER, Chandigarh and SMS medical college, Jaipur for my learning in Psychiatry.

I am grateful to my family and all my friends for being my pillars of strength.

I am thankful to our hospital leadership Dr S S Agarwal, Dr Virendra Singh, Dr Sarvesh Agarwal, my teachers Dr Sanjay Jain, Dr Anil Tambi, Dr I D Gupta and Dr Vimal Sharma Sir and fellow psychiatrists Dr Akhilesh Jain, Dr Tushar Jagawat, Dr Gajanand Verma and others, my colleagues and family members who were present at the event.

‘A journey of thousand miles begins with the first step’ Helping in recovery for one year . I thank almighty, my patients and my team for a wonderful year dedicated to service .

An awareness program about ‘Drug addiction and how it can harm the youth’ at Rajputana PG college. Interaction with young persons is always an opportunity to shape a developing mind. Thankful to Manish Ji and the college team for organising it.

Recently organised a free camp for awareness and treatment of Addiction at Jyoti Kiran Hospital in Devli, Tonk.
My colleagues went up to villages to spread awareness about addiction and mental health problems. The response was overwhelming as many patients and concerned family members turned up to for consultation.

When we lose someone to a Su***de then we often wonder if we could have prevented it. Su***des happen at the extreme severity of self harm ideation. They are preventable if we don’t ignore someone’s passing references to harming themselves like ‘I wish I was dead than to bear this stress’. In general, being sensitive to people when they talk about mental health problems is the key to Su***de prevention.
