HG Pancaratna Prabhu ji (Temple President ISKCON Jaipur) met with the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sh. Bhajan Lal Sharma ji.

HG Pancaratna Prabhu ji congratulated him for his Victory and invited him to our temple to which he responded very positively. Prabhuji presented him very beautiful picture of Giridhari Dauji, special garland of Lordship and Mahaprasadam.

We also explained him our Bhagvad Gita Value Education competition with school students and also our deaddiction efforts towards Youth of Rajasthan, CM was very pleased to hear and showed interest in these activities.
CM also released our 2024 calendar and Gita Value contests Broucher.

ISKCON Jaipur Story

Jaipur, also known as Gupt Vrindavan, has many of the prominent deities established by our Gaudiya Vaishnava Acharyas. Srila Prabhupada felt Jaipur to be a very important spiritual city and it was his keen desire to have a Krishna Balarama temple here.

In one letter Srila Prabhupada wrote-

"So I want to open a duplicate Krishna Balarama temple in Jaipur. I am sending separately copies of pictures of our Krishna Balarama Temple in Vrindaban. Of course there is also Radha Krishna and Gaura Nitai. I wish that you have some land in Jaipur and help us in constructing a temple like in Vrindaban."- 13, July 1975.

To fulfil this dream of Srila Prabhupada, the construction of Sri Sri Giridhari Dauji temple was started under the shelter of HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, GBC and the guidance of HG Devakinandan Prabhu, Co-Zonal Secretary.
