Inter-House Yoga Competition was organised for classes 8th to 12th on 31st May 2024. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and a sense of team work through the practice of yoga.
It was a great delight to see the participants perform various asanas with so much agility. Exquisite yoga postures were a hallmark of all the houses. Students moved from one pose to another effortlessly and seamlessly. The competition boosted the confidence and self-esteem of the young yoga enthusiasts. Students during their presentation also spoke about the benefits of each asana.
The Judgement criteria was :-
Precision in posture and body alignment.
Synchronization of breath with movement.
Overall poise, balance, and grace.
Originality and flow of the yoga sequence.
Participants appreciated the opportunity given to them to showcase their skills.The judges were impressed by the high level of talent and dedication displayed by participants.

POOL PARTY 2024
A pool party was held at Scientia International School for the students of the KG wing. The kids expressed immense joy and excitement throughout the event.
The motive behind organising the pool party was to develop their motor skills, improve their eye-hand coordination and develop their gross motor skills through running, dodging, hopping and sprinkling.
Kids enjoyed the party, bubbling with excitement and enthusiasm in their colourful swimsuits, splashing water at their friends and playing with floating toys. All teachers of KG wing and other staff members were present at the poolside for the safety of kids.
Teachers and staff reported smooth coordination and were pleased with the children’s engagement and enjoyment.

The Fireless Cooking Competition was held on 29th May 2024 during the school hours. This innovative event aimed to promote healthy eating, creativity in the kitchen, and an understanding of safe cooking practices without the use of traditional heat sources.
This Competition was organised to encourage healthy eating habits and innovation in cooking. It also educates participants about safe cooking techniques that do not require heat.
Students were asked to use fresh and healthy ingredients. Participants completed their dishes within the allotted time of one hour. Dishes ranged from vibrant salads, bhel, shakes, custard, oreo cakes, chocolate fudges and cold soups to exquisite desserts and refreshing beverages.
The Competition created a lively and festive atmosphere. The winners were selected based on the overall score from the judges, considering taste, creativity, presentation, and adherence to the theme.
We look forward to hosting this competition again next year and continuing to inspire innovative practices.

Lemonade Day was held in kindergarten under the concept

Students were taught how to make a fresh lemonade to keep themselves hydrated. In this activity they learnt that lemons are the rich source of Vitamin C and helps in boosting our immune system.

The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment.
Mother’s Day was celebrated at Scientia International School with great zeal. Everyone was dressed according to the theme, which was green. The day highlighted how mothers manage their work and family. Students presented a dance, a skit, and a song dedicated to their mothers.
The welcome address was presented by our Founder Director Principal Mrs Bharti Bhardwaj highlighting how mothers can be the guiding light in our journey of creativity and innovation. A motivational conversation presented by our esteemed guest, gave an insightful talk on how mothers can efficiently maintain a balance between their family and the outside world. She also focused on how mothers can help make their children more efficient and capable.
Additionally, a special talk was given by Scientian mothers , who shed light on the theme Lifetime of Love and Legacy and how to balance work and family time effectively.  Additionally, games were planned for the mothers, in which they showcased their full energy. A contest titled “Scientian Supermom 2024” was held, and mothers participated enthusiastically. The contest began with a ramp walk, followed by various rounds.It was a day full of merriment. After the final round, which involved an influencing talk about their Supermom, the day concluded with the crowning of the Scientian Supermom 2024.
Heart-warming feelings filled the air with intimacy, gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement.

GREEN COLOUR DAY CELEBRATION
In the colourful world of kindergarten young minds were ignited with enthusiasm as they celebrated Green day.
Children arrived dressed in green attire showcasing their excitement for the day ahead. Children sang cheerful songs and their voices filled the air with joy and laughter. From sorting green objects to matching shades of green reinforced their understanding of the colour.

Labour Day, also known as International Workers’ Day, is celebrated worldwide on May 1st to honor the contributions of workers and the labor movement.
We at Scientia celebrated Labour Day with enthusiasm and gratitude for the hard work and dedication of our employees.
The day commenced with a special morning assembly dedicated to honoring our employees. Students presented a skit to showcase how important they are and what they do for us during the day.
  Inspirational talk was delivered by Mrs Bharti Bhardwaj (Founder Director Principal) to motivate and inspire employees. These talks emphasized the importance of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance in achieving organizational goals. Each employee received a personalized thank you bouquet along with a small gift as a token of appreciation from the management. It provided an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our workforce so that every employee feels valued and respected.

Earth day was celebrated at Scientia International School with zeal. The day commenced with a solemn oath-taking ceremony, symbolizing the participants’ dedication to protecting and preserving the environment. It was followed by a plantation drive, demonstrating a hands-on approach to environmental conservation by planting trees and greenery within the school premises or surrounding areas. Posters were displayed and slogans were raised aiming at promoting environment awareness. Steps to how to plant a plant was the memorable act presented by lkg students. This week is dedicated to Mother Earth in which students and teachers together will take a step forward to help our nature. The importance of seed and how it grows into a huge tree, was displayed through dance. Skit was also shown, showcasing the importance of trees and their impact on our lives. Through hands-on activities, educational presentations, and awareness initiatives, students were inspired to take concrete actions to protect the planet.

*Composting is a process that converts organic materials into nutrient -rich compost and reduces the need for synthetic fertilisers.Matka Compost Activity* by using *Vegetables -Fruits Peel and Dried Leaves* held in the classroom where students showed their active participation.

APRIL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Every fourth Wednesday of the month is dedicated to Birthday celebration for the month.
“This month showers brought birthday flowers! Celebrating another year of sunshine and smiles.”
Today little Scientians enjoyed birthday bash with their April birthday born. Children also enjoyed sweet chocolate cake in their classrooms with their friends.

Winning an Olympiad competition is a prestigious achievement that brings recognition not only to the individual student but also to their school, community, and country.
Students once again brought laurels to school by showcasing their talents in English, Mathematics and Science Olympiads by scoring medals 🏅 🏅 of distinction and medals 🏅 🏅 of excellence only for the session 2023-24.

Earth Day: Celebrating Nature’s Beauty, Preserving Its Majesty!”
Students participated in the Earth Day Poster Challenge & Slogan Writing Competition to Empower Change and Embrace Sustainability. The purpose of this competition was to aware children of their Planet in a unique or innovative manner, portrayed in the posters.

Today Scientians hosted a vibrant Baisakhi celebration, showcasing the harvest season and rich cultural heritage of Punjab. The Baisakhi celebration commenced with an assembly, where students and teachers gathered to learn about the significance of Baisakhi in Sikh tradition and its importance in Indian culture. Students enthralled the audience with energetic Bhangra and graceful Gidda performances. The school premises were adorned with vibrant decorations reflecting the colors and motifs of Punjab. Little Scientians donned traditional Punjabi attire, adding to the festive atmosphere and immersing themselves in the spirit of Baisakhi. Everyone embraced the spirit of Baisakhi and strengthen bonds of unity.
