The webinar was Organized by Centre for Skills and Research in Association with National Stock Exchange of India and was Presented By Dr. Sharan Kumar Shetty, Associate Professor and Governing Board Member at MSN Institute of Management-Mangaluru.

The webinar had Participation from India, Kenya, Nepal, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia.
This initiative was been taken by the Centre for Skills and Research in collaboration with National Stock Exchange of India. The People from all over India including the ASEAN countries have witnessed the programme.
The purpose of this webinar is to support participants in creating a habit of saving
and investing. Everybody’s life requires excellent financial management. In the
webinar, financial literacy was emphasised. The importance of financial literacy in
today’s society Participants primarily hail from India, Vietnam, Cambodia, and
Malaysia.
Financial planning, wealth development and management, portfolio management,
and how to create a strong financial path to help society as a whole are the main
topics covered in the webinar.
The presenter began by highlighting the significance of saving in our life. The
amount of vitamin M in each person’s life will increase as a result of their saving
habits. Savings help our financial matters run more smoothly. What people investing
in various investment options need to understand about inflation and how it affects
the overall economic condition.
The world’s foremost expert on finance, Warren Buffet, opened the programme with a wise
proverb: "e Don’t save what’s left after spending; instead, spend what is left after saving. Quote

Vitamin M is more crucial to human health than other vitamins, and failing to maximise its
potency will make you a bigger failure in life.
We must handle it with the utmost care and prudence.
The speaker has covered a wide range of topics, including the benefits of mutual funds and
investments in the stock market. How can we ensure that our economy flourishes with the
participation of all citizens by making wiser investments? What precautions should one take
before investing in the stock market?
The speaker encouraged everyone present to share the message of saving and investing, and
to awaken everyone to support the Indian stock market by making investments.
In order for young minds to make wiser financial decisions, finance literacy programmes
must have an impact on everyone in the economy. The benefits and drawbacks of several financial instruments, including mutual funds and exchange traded funds, were discussed by Dr. Sharan Shetty. Mutual funds are safe investment options with a minimum rate of return.

Many of the participants asked Dr. Shetty a question, to which he replied. In order to realise
the objectives of the financial inclusion programme, he has emphasised the significance of
students in managing the rural population successfully. The academic staff of the institute
must offer opportunities for students to work in rural regions as part of their internship
programme.

Dr. Shetty demonstrated how inflation affects the economy and what elements to consider
while investing, as well as the documentation process for opening a Demat account and other
financial transactions. Dr. Shetty concentrated on the tax advantages of investing in strategies like ULIP and ELSS as well as the functions of each financial authority, which he reviewed and contrasted to those in the west.

The speaker argued vehemently for everyone’s participation in achieving the goal of inclusive progress for the betterment of the nation. The future of the nation depends in great part on a solid base of financial literacy, which must be strengthened by the diligence and labour of educated people like us.

The webinar was enthusiastically received by the attendees, who commended the Centre for Skills and Research such a beautiful event and expressed interest in doing such programmes in the futue in order to spread the scent of financial inclusion around the world. People from all over the world, not just those in India, have profited from this webinar.

Dr. Ritu Koul delivered the programs presidential comments and thanked everyone
