Jai Siya Ram 🙏

Food, friends, and Sunshine. Nothing better than eating a good meal under blue skies having fun with friends.

Sunday 10th December 2023
Jamshedpur women's club visited Furida Old age home near Patamda in Gerua Village.
Visiting an old age home was an eye-opening experience. It gave us a glimpse into the lives of the elderly and the challenges they face. NGO members interacted with them.
As we entered the old age home, we was struck by the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The residents went about their activities calmly, and there was a sense of serenity in the air. However, there was also a hint of melancholy, as if the residents were resigned to their fate of living in an old age home.
We observed the residents participating in various activities throughout the day. Some were playing games, while others were socializing with their peers. A group of residents was engaged in group exercises, which was heartening to see. It was evident that the staff at the home made an effort to keep the residents engaged and active.
We spent some time interacting with the residents and listening to their stories. They shared their experiences, both happy and sad, and it was humbling to hear them.
Spending time with them made us realize the importance of valuing our elderly and the impact that a small gesture of kindness can have on their lives.
Our visit to the old age home was an enriching experience. It made us appreciate the elderly and their contributions to society, and also made us aware of the challenges they face. We left the home with a sense of gratitude and respect for the residents and the staff who take care of them.
Special thanks to our core member Pooja Bhalotia for initiating this project and making the necessary arrangements.

Jamshedpur Women's Club participated in an event named Aspire. An association of more than 500 CWSN - Children with special need in Jamshedpur.
CWSN refers to children who have physical, cognitive, emotional, or sensory impairments that may impact their learning and development.
These conditions can include but are not limited to autism spectrum disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and learning disabilities.
Children who are born with some sort of disability require special care and assistance to spread their wings and prosper. The nature of this assistance and care depends on the nature of their disability. This is where ASPIRE comes into the picture.
Jamshedpur women's club was invited by Aspire on the occasion of World Disability Day where children participated in a talent show.
Our NGO was represented by core committee members Purabi Ghosh Sheetal Khaitan and Pooja Bhalotia.

Today 4th November Jamshedpur Women's Club visited Ghaghidhi OH and Balgrah.
Our member Mrs. Deepa Vig sponsored lunch. Mrs Poonam Sachdeva and Mrs Seema Jaggi sponsored winter clothing for Balgrah inmates.
Children were happy.
A counseling session was conducted for the inmates on Importance of Ethics in life.
It is rightly said that an act of goodness is of itself an act of happiness. One of the best things you can share with others is your own happiness.
Parents are among the most important people in the lives of young children. They do not need lavish things to feel happy. They just need to feel that there is someone who shows concern towards them. That's a big enough reason to bring them happiness.
Gratitude to our members for their generosity, kindness, valuable tine and continued support.
Thank you!
