We are thrilled to share a heartwarming story from our incredible intern, Shivalik who recently took part in an impactful awareness session by the Anishka Red Badge of Courage Foundation. 🙌🏽🌼

Taking his dedication a step further, Shivalik during his tenure at our organisation as an intern installed a much-needed Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine in a rural village, ensuring that women in underserved areas have access to essential hygiene products. 🩸💪🏽

This initiative reflects our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of women in rural communities. 🌍 Let's applaud Shivalik for his dedication and passion towards creating a better world for all. 🌈💖

Accessibility, Affordability & Awareness! 🤝

Here's to one of our most important Pillars of this organisation, Miss Sarthi, she has been our first and oldest beneficiary from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, she tried understanding the issue of Period Poverty and has been there with us since the very first day.

She has been of utmost importance to our organisation, from connecting us to women in the rural areas, to convincing them to hear us out once, she's done it all.

We are and will always remain forever grateful to her for all the efforts she's put in! ♥️

Regularity of changing napkin is necessary in order to prevent from reproductive tract infections (RTI) which may lead to infertility this can be achieved through sanitary napkin dispensers. It highly reduces the pressure of women and girls who might feel embarrassed to borrow or buy the napkin.

It is convenient to pick up the pads independently, with hassle-free operations. The motive behind this machine is to promote menstrual health of women and adolescent girls which ensure to provide the sanitary napkin at any time on their need and to encourage them against using traditional methods.

Today, in the year 2020 we started our fight against Period Poverty. I'd like to thank each and everyone who's been a part of this journey. Thank you for helping us reach our Goal.

The Phases of a Menstrual Cycle! 🩸

One sanitary pad could take 500 to 800 years to decompose as the plastic used is non-biodegradable and can lead to health and environmental hazards.

Biodegradable sanitary napkins can decompose in six to 12 months. Reusable cloth pads and menstrual underwear can be reused for a year or two. Menstrual cups are made of medical-grade silicon and are reusable for five to 10 years. Please make the right choice.

The path to making sustainable menstruation a reality is slow but not impossible.

We are immensely happy to announce that our Interns our going to engage in a discussion on very important topics "Accessibility without Awareness, What's the way out?" & "Period Leave & Accessibility still remains aloof in the unorganised sector"

Our team is extremely excited to have these young children speak on issues and fight against the stigma related to periods.

We are delighted to have our Interns for the month of June & July from for a Social Internship under School of Life. It's an absolute pleasure to have them, hoping to have a very fruitful collaboration.

Menstruation is the only blood that is not born from violence, yet it's the one that disgusts you the most!

When we normalize the topic of periods and being able to speak about it freely with our peers and within our community, we'll be able to normalize it so much so that it will become more of a priority in our communities and our legislative bodies and for eradicating it as a whole.
