Our management strongly believes that felicitation is a way to encourage good behavior and competitive spirit. They have always provided a healthy, ethical and fairly competitive environment to grow in every sphere of the activity. Awards are the way to encourage desired behavior and inculcate competitive spirit.

On the occasion of Children's Day, promising children of our school at Bal Bhawan Jhajjar were felicitated by Mrs. Shikha (SDM JHAJJAR), Mrs. Ankita Sharma (CJM JHAJAR) and other VIP GUESTS.

Children's day is celebrated on the 14th of November every year on the birth anniversary of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The day is celebrated to increase awareness on the rights and education of kids. Children’s Day is to celebrate “Childhood”. Children are loved by one
and all. They win our hearts with their innocent smiles.
The Children's Day programme for primary school began with prayer and tributes to Chacha Nehru. Various activities such as poem recitation, song and speech giving were organized. The day had the theme of love.
It was beautifully quoted that *today's children are tomorrow's citizens!*
Children took active part in celebrations. Parents are also very happy to see their children participating in the celebration
and are thankful for the generous support.
Thus the
campus was buzzing with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. Hence
“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they
are the future of our nation and the citizens of tomorrow.”

On the special occasion of children’s day, the school organized a speech competition for middle school and senior school on the topics of “Save the girl child” or “Clean India” and “Unity in Diversity” or “National Integration” respectively. Participants gave a commendable performance and proved themselves and added ‘a feather in their cap.’ The school and the judges also concluded the event with a speech that such competitions are organized from time to time so that the students develop the art of speaking, become confident, remove hesitation and thus improve themselves in the upcoming declamations. Hence the event began with a *Saraswati Vandana* and closed with a dance performance on *Thank-you Song.* Thus the students emphasized the need of women empowerment by quoting some phrases like:
अबला जीवन हाय तुम्हारी यही कहानी, आंचल में है दूध और आंखों में पानी..
But the scenario has changed now women are equal to men and are far superior!
Moreover it was also said that ”cleanliness is next to godliness” and one must keep their surroundings clean as “charity begins at home.”
Certificates were distributed and medals were awarded to the winners.
Altogether the event was a success!
