“Changing the narrative one step at a time. When we started our journey and were looking for chefs/cooks to join our kitchen the only leads we got were, men who were or had worked in professional kitchens. Female representation in this industry esp. in tier 2 and 3 cities is very low and we wanted to change this narrative!

At Unaavu we hired home cooks and trained them to take over a professional kitchen. Today some of these women are the highest earning members in their family. We have seen them grow both personally & professionally while encouraging other women around them to join this community.

All one needs after a good day’s work is a Cup of Coffee!
