Stopped OHAs of 68/M with Uncontrolled Type 2 since last 2 months...He is on Diabetic Diet and Yoga.He has responded well to MNT but regular Follow up needed with Patients compliance is needed in such cases.

Myth-Diabetic Neuropathy is classically taught as being the result of long standing Diabetes so takes many years to develop after the diagnosis of Diabetes..

Fact-Prevalance of peripheral neuropathy could be as high as 29% with Normal sugar levels,49% with Impaired glucose tolerance and around 50% in newly diagnosed Type 2 DM.
