Currently we cultivate paddy and groundnut in our farm. This week we are harvesting groundnuts considering the current weather forecast. If you are interested in joining us for the harvest, please let us know. We have planned to start the harvest from 13th May and end it by 15th May.
What to expect in the farm
1. A functional kitchen (can cook a basic meal. If you have a specific menu or diet, please get the necessary ingredients. We recommend natural and safe food).
2. An Indian toilet system
3. Bath space and change room
4. Village panchayat water for drinking
5. The house can accommodate a maximum of 7 adults
6. If you are staying over we will provide the sleeping mats. Please bring pillows and blankets if required.
How to reach by public transport.
There is a straight bus to Kattiyampandhal Village from Chengalpattu bus stand ( route number 3 ) at 6 am and 3 pm. Get down at the last stop and from there you can walk to the farm. If you are not able to get this straight bus, you can get Uthiremerur town bus from Chengalpet bus stand ( route number T68). Get down at Kattiyampandhal koot road and take a share auto from the koot road to reach the farm.
