You will never miss those vast ranges of mountains as a backdrop to the premises of Thirunelli temple in Wayanad. And you’d tremble slightly when your guide tells you, that the destination lies somewhere on the crest of one of them. Impossible!

TREKKING TRAILS
Brahmagiri Peak Trekking
The trek to Brahmagiri hills is one of the most popular treks in Wayanad and one of the few which strikes a balance between excellent views and being first-time-trekker-friendly. It takes more than 3 hours of an intense trek to reach the top of Brahamagiri, which is about 1608 m high. Trek begins from the Forest department camp shed at Thirunelli and is a 10 km long walk. You’d be exhausted by the steep climb, but the gurgle of streams comes at regular intervals to warm the cockles of your heart. Every time you get tired, you only have to crane your head up to see the majestic Brahmagiri hills, beckoning you from a distance, to pep you up. If you’re lucky and carry a binocular, climb the watchtower and you’d spot a herd of gaurs or elephants grazing on the valleys.

By Road: Mananthavady is the nearest town and frequent buses are available from here.
By Rail: 108 km from Thalassery Railway Station and 130 km from Kozhikode Railway Station
By Air: 150 Kms from Calicut International Airport

We bring you an unique race with First of its kind ANNUAL NIGHT RUN in the beautiful coastal town of KANNUR, where participants will be running on a pre-marked course and can experience and enjoy the run in the beautiful open and dark sky, surrounded by amazing Casuarina forest along with beautiful coastal line, also Night Run Kannur is the best place to all the running aspirants who are looking forward to achieve greater individual milestones.

Should the race be moved due to any reasons, all entries will be moved to the next date chosen for this specific race (No refunds at any point)
