The event featured Dr. Jitin Yadav, a distinguished Senior Consultant Surgical Oncologist from Regency Hospital. The students of pharmacy and entire faculty including Director Sir, actively participated in this enlightening initiative dedicated to promoting awareness and understanding of lung cancer.

On December 4, 2023, PSIT-Pharmacy Fourth year B. Pharma students, accompanied by three faculty members, visited Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd and Alkem Laboratories in Baddi. The visits, authorized by college authorities, aimed to provide students with practical insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including medical devices, repackaging, lotions, ointments, ear drops, ayurvedic, allopathic liquid oral dosage forms, and tablets. The objectives included knowledge enhancement, exposure to industrial environments, fostering industry-institute relations, understanding health and safety aspects, and building contacts for future career opportunities. industry
