From a small store called “Eastern Trading Company” located in Kochi Group Meeran has come a long way with its presence spread across different product verticals and across various countries. From tea to technology, treads to mattresses and to affordable homes, Group Meeran is home to some of the finest brands. Our journey of building the spices and culinary range at Eastern Condiments has given us the understanding of creating appealing brands to consumers and innovative ways to connect with them. Onam is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Kerala. It is also a time to reconnect with family, friends and community. Group Meeran celebrated this special day in style by conducting an Onam event on 06/09/22 in the office premises. The function began with a lamp lighting ceremony where Navas Meeran lit the lamp with company heads and family members. He also delivered wishes to all through this occasion.

The program continued with various activities including onasadya, singing, dancing, and various fun games, which provided an opportunity for employees to interact with each other and showcase their talent. The celebration concluded with winners being rewarded for their outstanding performance at the end of the event.

As a homage to the memory and a celebration of our founder M E Meeran and his entrepreneurial spirit, all products of Group Meeran will now bear the line “By Meeran”.

The first product launched in this direction is our tea brand, Eastea By Meeran.

In a short conversation with Zubin Navas (Director), Mr R. Sreekandan Nair introduced to his viewers the first product to roll out with the line, Eastea by Meeran.
