Mr. Rohith K Vijayan, HSE Engineer, UAE conducted an engaging and informative session for the students . We thank him for sharing his valuable time and knowledge with us and for joining hands with ASFE CUSAT Students Chapter to conduct this event and wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.

Association of Safety and Fire Engineers in association with the Division of Safety and Fire Engineering conducted a session on "How to tackle interviews" at the Seminar Hall, Department of Safety and Fire Engineering, SoE, CUSAT. Mr. Anis Jayaram and Mr.Rithwik C Peter lead an engaging and informative session for the students on how to prepare for the interviews . We thank them for sharing their valuable time and knowledge with us and for joining hands with ASFE CUSAT to conduct this event.

It has been 75 years since we gained independence and we have grown to become the largest democracy in the world and one of the global superpowers. This Independence Day, let's take a pledge to protect the peace, diversity, harmony, and unity of our great nation. ASFE wishes you a happy 76th independence day

The national flag of India is a symbol of honour, patriotism, and freedom for the country. The first Indian national flag was hoisted on August 7, 1906 at Parsee Bagan Square in Kolkata. It represents the unity of the people of India in spite of the differences in language, culture, religion, class, etc. three colours of the flag are saffron, white, and green. The colour saffron represents courage and sacrifice, the colour white denotes peace and truth and the colour green symbolizes faith and chivalry. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being observed by the Central government and the Indian populace to mark the country's 75th anniversary of independence with an enthusiasm to bring the Tiranga home and be a part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.

On this independence day we wish to celebrate and honor all our freedom fighters who gave up their lives for our freedom. Freedom fighters are what made our country what it is today. Freedom fighters made sacrifices which one cannot even imagine of doing for their loved ones, leave alone the country. The amount of pain, hardships, and opposite they have endured cannot be put into words. The generations after them will always be indebted to them for their selfless sacrifices and hard work. Let us all come together as Indians and promote the freedom our ancestors fought so hard for.

We are excited to officially announce the release of "SFE: A Beginners Guide". A brief and informative intro to the B.Tech Safety and Fire Engineering course for newcomers. It was unveiled by Shri. Arun Kumar, President ASFE. We have addressed to most common queries about our course and much more.

Association of Safety and Fire Engineers celebrated 25 years of Safety and Fire Engineering.In commemoration of this glorious occasion ASFE unveiled its Silver Jubilee souvenir “CHRYSALIS”. A plethora of cultural events including the energizing performance by Team Parava, a beautiful recreation of history with a Kalari Payattu performance by Nived K V and team and an array of various other mesmerizing performances by our students. We thank all our dear performers for making our event more colourful.

Association of Safety and Fire Engineers celebrated 25 years of Safety and Fire engineering. We thank our distinguished guests, malayalam Superstar Suraj Venjaramoodu, the gorgeous Aditi Ravi, Scriptwriter Abhilash Pillai, Music director Ranjin Raj and Producer Gijo Kavanal from Team “PATHAAM VALAVU” for gracing our event with your presence.

Association of Safety and Fire Engineers celebrated 25 years of Safety and Fire engineering. The program started with a prayer to the almighty by Smt. Minna Sen followed by the welcome speech by Shri. Arun Kumar, President ASFE. The program briefing was done by Shri Jithin Das, ASFE Student Chapter president. The function was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Madhusoodanan, Vice-Chancellor, CUSAT. Our guest of honor Shri. Loknath Behra, retired IPS officer, and MD Kochi Metro unveiled the Silver Jubilee souvenir "CHRYSALIS". Prof. (Dr.) Babu T Jose, Emeritus Professor, CUSAT, shared his humble words. The function was felicitated by Prof. (Dr.) George Mathew, Principal, SOE, Prof. (Dr.) K. S. Beena, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. (Dr.) G. Madhu, HOD, Dept of Chemical Engg, and Prof. (Dr.) M. R. Radhakrishna Panikkar, HOD, Dept of Mechanical Engg.The vote of thanks by Shri. Akash Venugopal, Secretary ASFE Student Chapter concluded the event.

Association of Safety and Fire Engineers in association with the Division of Safety and Fire Engineering conducted a Basic Life Support CPR Training session as a part of National Safety Week at Seminar Hall, SOE, CUSAT. Mr. Praveen Paul trained the students through his informative and practical session on CPR Training. We thank Arbrit Safety and Engineering Solutions (P) Ltd for associating with ASFE CUSAT to conduct this event.

Association of Safety and Fire Engineers in association with the Division of Safety and Fire Engineering hosted the flag-off session of the National Safety Week at Seminal Hall, SOE, CUSAT. Mr Vipindas Somasekharan illuminated the students through his informative session on "Practical Aspects of Management in Process Industry". We thank Mr Vipindas Somasekharan for his gracious presence.

As a part of National Safety Week Celebration, ASFE is organising a CPR Training Session at Seminar Hall, School of Engg. under it's Student Chapter in association with Arbrit Safety Training and Consultancy LLC .
