Aluva metro station is the first station in the Kochi metro rail network phase one. It is situated in the heart of Aluva, a town in Kochi City

Aluva is the first Station of Kochi Metro Rail. Aluva (formerly Alwaye), is second biggest town of Greater Cochin City in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, India which is also considered as the Industrial and Commercial City of Kochi. Located on the banks of River Periyar, Aluva is the industrial epicentre of the state. A major transportation hub, with easy access to all major forms of transportation, Aluva acts as a corridor which links the highland districts to the rest of the state.

Taking into account the UPSC examination scheduled for tomorrow, Kochi Metro will start services an hour early, at 07:00 am from both the terminals. Till 10:00 am trains will run at a 15 minute frequency.
