Our hearts are wilderness given form. It thrashes against the cage and refuses to cooperate with its captor. We wring it to instil discipline and calmness but the sly fox only responds to kindness. Only through being kind to ourselves can we hope to find peace within. Don't chain the fox, tame it. The night seems everlasting and relentless. It will pass.

There is always a time when we feel the lowest but when it's gone it leaves behind a scar. Time stops, nothing feels real, we bleed, we cry and an acute pain is what we remember from the time of the wound. But wound heals. We should not forget the situation which made us feel lowest. But walk forward; forgive ourselves for carrying the pain with us. Let it go. If you're not ready to, then recognise its existence and feel it completely. We cannot let go of things half processed. What's truly yours will surely come back, if not then it was never yours to begin with.

Koi fish and 'Koi maach' are not the same fish at all. If Bengalis are depicted by fish I think Koi maach is a fish which can accurately symbolise our culture, more than Hilsa or any other fish. The thorny spines, meticulously designed fish bones, the aggression in its steely eyes; all of these paint a vivid picture of our rich history and what sort of people we are.
Funnily, there's a conventional story of Koi being able to walk on land despite being a fish. Aquaman enough?
The design incorporates a 'haath pakha' or a hand fan as a regional symbol and a literary symbol of the Babu Culture that dominated a large part of our local history.

Our mind is like an ocean. It's calm in its nature but when it touches the shore, the reality of things....it becomes agitated and breaks itself on the shore. The waves break and retrace into its calmness and again hits the shore to challenge it. It's cyclical. Its never ending just like human conflict. We all are conflicted and all we have is each other.
