World Oral Health Day celebrations which incorporates Oral Health Education related campaigns would be incomplete without serving the Rural population of the country.

In lieu of this, the Department of Public Health Dentistry conducted a Free Dental Screening Camp at Shyamsundarpur Patna High School, Panskura, Purba Medinipur.

A total of 529 school children were screened and an Oral Health education related interaction with the school students was also carried out..

Free dental screening and treatment camp for the children of Cossipore Girls' Institution conducted by the Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry of Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital.

The aim is to create social awareness about oral hygiene among underprivileged children and provide free dental treatment to them.

Congratulations and thanks to the faculties, doctors, interns of the Department of Pediatric & Preventive dentistry for taking such wonderful initiative.

An excellent CDE program was organised by the Department of Oral medicine and Radiology of Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital on 11 th March,2024. The scientific session was followed by the prize distribution of E-essay writing competition.

We would like to thank Prof.(Dr.) Devarshi Nandi sir for his wonderful deliberation on the topic 'Infectious Diseases of the Oral Cavity'.

Come join us on National Cons-Endo Day at the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital, Kolkata.

The 'Oral Pathologist Day' was celebrated by the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology of Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital by organising a great scientific session along with 30 poster presentations by students of different colleges.

We congratulate all the participants and wish all the best for their bright future.

On 24th February 2024, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology of Kusum Devi Sunderlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital, Kolkata, celebrated the National Oral Pathologists Day with grandeur. To commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. H.M Dholakia and honor the contributions of the stalwarts in our field, a CDE programme was conducted under the aegis of the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists ( IAOMP). The Principal and Head of Department of Oral Pathology of our college, Dr. Jayanta Chattopadhyay Jayanta Chattopadhyay was the organizing chairman of the program. The honorary President of the IAOMP, Dr. Puneet Ahuja and the honorary secretary, Dr. Nadeem Jeddy delivered guest lectures. Eminent Oral Pathologist, Dr. Jay Gopal Ray, Professor and Head, Department of Oral Pathology of Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College and Hospital, Kolkata was also a guest speaker at the event. The program was attended by a bouquet of dignitaries, venerable personalities in the various fields of dentistry and respected members of the Shree S.S. Jain Sabha.
An undergraduate poster competition was also conducted as a part of the event.
There were 240 participants at the CDE program and 30 poster presentations.
The unwavering support of the Sabha, faculty members and students of the college made the event a grand success.
