Renegades FC wishes a very happy Renegades Day to all members and well-wishers of our club! However, this time it's different - this is the last time we are going to celebrate Renegades Day as club members.
Under the current circumstances, Renegades FC has taken the difficult decision to disband and cease operations as a club. There was a lack of interest among members to continue playing football, and ultimately the club had to agree to the consensus.
Renegades FC has always been and will forever be grateful to all individuals associated with the club - the members, the supporters and the fans - the Renegades family - for the perennial love and warmth they have shown us, all along these 8 fateful years. We thank you for one last time.
It has been a long journey, and as we know, each journey must have its end.
Farewell and all the best to everyone in the journey of life!
ACG signing off.
There will be no POTM awards this month too as there were no team events last month. We will be looking to get back on field this month.
There will be no POTM awards this month as there were no team events last month.
Our POTM for the month of September is Joybrata Paul, forward and wearer of jersey number 10. Back after 10 months, it was a low-key affair and Joybrata managed to make the best of chances. Agile and ever-alert, he is the deserved winner of the POTM. Congratulations and keep it up!
There will be no POTM awards this month as there were no team events last month. But we are super excited as we will finally be returning to play football this month, after a long time!
We were very close to getting back to football but rain played spoilsport at the last moment. So there will be no POTM awards this month too. But now we are closer than ever to resume football and will soon be back at the field. Till then, stay safe, stay home.
Raju Yadav receives the Renegades FC Player of the Year (2020) trophy for being the standout performer of a season which was drastically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Raju was the commanding presence in midfield which the team needed, and he delivered every time. He was to be presented with the silverware on the occasion of Renegades Day on 21st April, which marks the foundation day of the club, but due to the lockdown we had to postpone the ceremony. We could not have been prouder of his achievement, and we hope that this is the first of many POTY trophies!
Congratulations on receiving the prestigious award! Here's to many more!
There were no team events last month, so there will not be any POTM awards given out. However, as the world slowly recovers from the pandemic, we are assessing the situation and have high hopes that we will be able to get back to football very soon. Most of our members have received their first dose of the vaccine and the rest will soon follow. Discussions are going on to decide the course of action. Till then, stay safe, stay home, and do get the vaccine on your turn.
No team events last month means no POTM award this month too.
Stay home, stay safe.
Like last month, there will be no POTM award this month too. We are eagerly waiting for the pandemic to end, following which we will return to playing football. Till then, stay home, stay safe.
Renegades FC represented in Germany! Former Renegade Sagnik Gupta proudly displays his jersey in front of the Gänseliesel in front of Göttingen Town Hall! Sagnik has been in Germany since March pursuing his Master's degree, and on the occasion of Renegades Day, he decided to show his love for the club by this historic gesture!
Today marks seven years since the inception of our club Renegades FC. We could never have foreseen the adventures which lay ahead of us. It has been truly an eventful journey.
As we complete seven years together, we reflect upon the memories we have shared together on and off the pitch. It's sad that we are not being able to make more of these memories right now, with the resurgence of the deadly virus confining us to the shelter of our homes. So we can only wait for the bad times to finally end, enabling us to take the field with renewed hope and strength.
On this occasion of Renegades Day, we would like to thank all the past and present members of the Renegades family for their contribution to the legacy of this club. We would also like to thank all of our fans, followers, supporters and well-wishers, and hope that this post finds them in good health - both physical and mental. We sincerely hope that you keep loving us forever.
Happy birthday to all us Renegades!
There will be no POTM awards due to no team events being held last month.
As there is a sudden massive resurgence in the number of COVID-19 affected cases, the team calls off all team events until further notice.
Personal hygiene and social distancing is of more importance now than ever before. Stay home, stay safe.
