AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR VARICOSE VEINS
Varicosis, also known as varicose veins, is a disorder in which the veins of the legs become varicose, i.e., they seem enlarged and bulging and can be distinguished beneath the surface of the skin.

Varicose veins Symptoms-
Varicose veins can be dark or light in colour, ranging from a light purplish-red to a navy blue, and they can be accompanied by skin peeling and ulceration.
Heaviness, burning, aching, tiredness, or pain in the legs.
Swelling of the feet and ankles, itching directly over the vein

Varicose veins Causes-
Varicose veins develop by putting too much strain on the legs or abdomen.
These are caused by ageing, obesity, pregnancy, hormonal changes, and a variety of other factors, some of which may be genetic or epigenetic in nature, as varicose veins frequently run in families.
Standing for extended periods of time puts strain on leg veins and promotes varicose veins.

Ayurvedic treatments for Varicose veins-
Ayurvedic cure for Varicose veins focuses on keeping the three doshas in balance. These are:
Vata (air and space)
Pitta (fire and water)
kapha (earth and water)
Varicose veins happen due to an imbalance of the vata.

Ayurvedic varicose vein treatment includes a variety of methods combining traditional therapies, medications and lifestyle adjustments.

Ayurvedic Therapies for Varicose Veins
Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic massage that involves applying warm herb-infused oil to your entire body. It is thought to restore balance to your doshas.

Leech therapy For many years, leeches have been employed to treat varicose veins. Leeches are thought to bite on the skin when linked to the body, however the bite is painless. A leech’s bite is said to be anaesthetic, which explains why the bite is painless. The leech remains attached to the skin for 20 to 40 minutes. The saliva of leeches is claimed to have blood-thinning qualities that assist avoid clotting while also thinning existing clots. The end outcome is improved blood and nutrient flow throughout the body.
