👉आपका नेत्र चिकित्सक आपकी आंखों की जांच आगे से पीछे यानी पलकों से लेकर कॉर्निया से लेकर रेटिना तक करता है।
👉स्क्रीनिंग के द्वारा कई बीमारियों की पहचान करने में मदद मिलती है जैसे -
सूखी आंख, एलर्जी, मोतियाबिंद, ग्लूकोमा, मधुमेह और उच्च रक्तचाप से ग्रस्त रेटिनोपैथी आदि।
👉यदि आप, या आपके परिवार के सदस्य मधुमेह या उच्च रक्तचाप से पीड़ित हैं, तो वर्ष में कम से कम एक बार नेत्र चिकित्सक का दौरा अवश्य करें, भले ही रोग नियंत्रण में हो।

After performing cataract surgeries on more than 850 patients in past few months this one case is close to my heart, this young girl had both eye cataract which hampered her school and daily life, she was dependent on others for all her routine activity.
close your eyes and try to eat food in front of you or try to go to toilet with closed eyes, it is difficult, when one of your sense is impaired, she was crying and irritated most of the time, after her routine investigation we found her haemoglobin was 3.2 (normal for this age should be >12) after blood transfusion and oral treatment her hemoglobin comes to 10.7.
she was taken for right eye cataract surgery, this is her next day follow up, other eye surgery will be done soon, but for now she is able to see again,her whole management was done free of cost due to her parents monetary situation.
After her visual rehabilitation I hope she will be able to complete her education and will make a difference in the society. This post is to create awareness that a simple cataract surgery can make a huge difference in someone's life.

It's always a pleasure to serve the place you belong, Happy to be a part of eye examination and cataract surgery camp conducted by Digambar jain social group (vardhman) and bharat Vikas parishad hospital, Kota. Screened more than 100 patients and performed cataract surgery on selected patients.

Required experienced optometrist, who can manage opd and can assist in eye surgery. Can travel outside Kota as per the requirement. Should know local language and have basic computer skills.

Cataract is most common cause of preventable blindness in old age, in this video 88 years old patient can be seen with a beautiful smile after her cataract surgery.
