Ring up a radio station and dedicate a song to Friendship Day and your friends!
A wonderful idea would be to make some new friends on the occasion by becoming a doer of RAOK - Random Acts of Kindness

Give your friend a Friendship Bracelet (made or bought) to symbolize your friendship.

യാത്ര പറയും മുംമ്പേ ............

കുവൈത്തിൽ അടുത്തിടെ മരണപ്പെട്ട എഴുത്തുകാരൻ അബ്ദുല്ല അൽ ജാറല്ലാഹ്‌ മരണത്തിന്നു മുമ്പു കുറിച്ചിട്ട വാക്കുകൾ ഇങ്ങനെ വായിക്കാം:

മരണം എന്റെ ചുമലിന്നു പിറകിൽ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഞാൻ അസ്വസ്ഥനാവില്ല. നശ്വരതയോട്‌ അടുത്തു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ശരീരത്തിന്നും ഞാൻ അമിതപ്രാധാന്യം നൽകുന്നില്ല. എന്റെ മുസ്ലിം സഹോദരങ്ങൾ മരണാന്തര കർമ്മങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റെടുത്തു കൊള്ളും. അവയിൽ ചിലതിങ്ങനെ:
എന്റെ ഉടയാടകൾ അവർ അഴിച്ചു മാറ്റും.
എന്നെ കുളിപ്പിക്കും
തൂവെള്ളത്തുണിയിൽ എന്നെ ചുറ്റിപ്പൊതിയും
വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നെന്നെ ഇറക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു പോകും
എന്റെ പുതിയ ആവാസ കേന്ദ്രത്തിലേക്കു അഥവാ കുഴിമാടത്തിലേക്കു എന്നെ ചുമക്കും. ഒരു പാടു പേർ എന്റെ അന്ത്യ യാത്രയിൽ അണിചേരും. എന്റെ കബറടക്കത്തിന്നായി, പലരും പല പതിവു പണികളും വേണ്ടെന്നു വെച്ചും പലർക്കും അനുവദിച്ച കൂടിക്കഴകൾ നിർത്തിവെച്ചും എത്തിച്ചേരും.
ആ കർമ്മ നിരതരിൽ അധിക പേരും ഞാൻ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നപ്പോൾ എന്നോട്‌ ഗുണകാംക്ഷ കാണിക്കാത്തവരാണു.
എന്റേതെന്ന് ഞാൻ അഭിമാനം കൊള്ളുന്ന പലതും എന്നെ വിട്ടു പോകും:
എന്റെ താക്കോൽകൂട്ടങ്ങൾ, എന്റെ ഗ്രന്ഥശേഖരങ്ങൾ, എന്റെ തുണിപ്പെട്ടികളും പാദരക്ഷകളും, എന്റെ ഉടുമുണ്ടുകളും ... അങ്ങിനെ പലതും!! എന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കൾ നീതിബോധമുള്ളവരാണെങ്കിൽ എനിക്ക് മരണ ശേഷം ഉപകാരപ്പെടട്ടേ എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശത്തോടെ അവ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും ധർമ്മം ചെയ്യും.

ഉറപ്പിച്ചു പറയാം ദുനിയാവ്‌ ഒരിക്കലും എന്റെ വേർപ്പാടിൽ സങ്കടപ്പെടില്ല. എന്റെ മരണം കൊണ്ട്‌ ഭൂഭ്രമണം നിലച്ചു പോവുകയുമില്ല. വ്യവഹാരങ്ങളെല്ലാം പതിവു പോലെ നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. എനിക്കു പകരം ജോലിചെയ്യാൻ എന്റെ കസേരയിൽ പകരക്കാരനെത്തും. എന്റെ ധനം ന്യായമായും അനന്തരാവകാശികൾ പങ്കിട്ടെടുക്കും. എന്നാലോ ആ ധനത്തെക്കുറുച്ച്‌ കണക്കു പറയേണ്ടതു ഞാനും!. അതു കൂമ്പാരമാവട്ടെ കഷ്ഠിച്ചുള്ളതാവട്ടെ. അണുമണിത്തൂക്കമാവട്ടെ ഈത്തപ്പഴക്കുരുവിനെ പൊതിഞ്ഞ പാട കണക്കു നിസ്സാരമാവട്ടെ.

മരണപ്പെട്ടാൽ എത്രയും പെട്ടെന്നു എന്നിൽ നിന്നു ഉതിർന്നു വീഴുന്നത്‌ എന്റെ പേരു തന്നെ. പിന്നെ അന്വേഷണം മയ്യത്തിനെക്കുറിച്ചാണു. എന്റെ പേർ ആരും വിളിക്കില്ല. എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി നമസ്കരിക്കാൻ അണിചേർന്നു നിൽക്കുമ്പോൾ വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നതു ജനാസ കൊണ്ടു വരൂ എന്നാണു. അവരാരും എന്റെ പേർ ഉരിയാടില്ല. എന്നെ ഇടുങ്ങിയ ഇരുട്ടറയിലേക്കു ഇറക്കിവെക്കാൻ തുനിയുമ്പോഴും അവർക്ക്‌ മയ്യത്താണു പരതുക. നിമിഷങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടു എന്റെ നാമം വിസ്മൃതിൽ കുഴിച്ചുമൂടപ്പെട്ടു.

എന്റെ രക്തബന്ധങ്ങളൊ ഗോത്രസഹജീവികളോ എന്നോടൊരു സഹതാപവും കാണിക്കുന്നില്ല. എന്റെ പദവികളോ പ്രശസ്തിയോ എന്നൊടൊരു കനിവും കാണിക്കുന്നില്ല.

ഈ ദുനിയാവു എത്രമാത്രം നിസ്സാരമാണു! നാം കടന്നു ചെല്ലുന്ന മറുലോകം എത്ര ഭീതിതവും!

ഇന്നിപ്പോൾ രക്തം സിരയിലോടുന്നവനേ;
നിന്റെ മേൽ പൊഴിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ദുഖം മൂന്നു വിധമാണു: നിന്നെ ആഴത്തിലറിയാത്തവർ പറയും; മിസ്കീൻ! നിന്റെ ഉറ്റ ചെങ്ങാതിമാർക്കുണ്ടാകുന്ന വ്യസനം മണിക്കുറുകളോ ദിവസങ്ങളൊ മാത്രം ആയുസ്സുള്ളവ. പിന്നെയവർ അവരുടെ സല്ലാപങ്ങളിലേക്കും പൊട്ടിച്ചിരികളിലേക്കും തിരിച്ചെത്തും.
പിന്നെ നിന്റെ വീട്ടുകാർക്കുണ്ടവുന്ന അഖാത ദുഖമല്ലേ.... അതൊരാഴ്ചവട്ടം കോണ്ടോ ഒരർദ്ധ മാസം കോണ്ടോ ഏറിയാൽ ഒരു മാസത്തേക്കോ... പിന്നെയവർ നിന്നെ വിസ്മൃതിയുടെ മാറാപ്പിൽ മടക്കിവെക്കും. നിന്റെ ഐഹിക ജനസംമ്പർക്ക കഥകൾക്കിവിടെ വിരാമമായി. പിന്നെയാണു നിന്റെ യഥാർഥ ജീവിത നാടകത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീല ഉയരുന്നതു......പാരത്രികം!!

നിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യം ചിതലരിച്ചു. നിന്റെ ധനം വഴിയിൽ നിന്നു തന്നെ നിന്നോട്‌ യാത്ര പറഞ്ഞു. മക്കളും ആയുരാരോഗ്യവും നിന്റെ ഒരു കാതമകലെപ്പോലുമില്ല. കുടിലും കൊട്ടാരവും കുടുമ്പിനിയും വിടചൊല്ലിപ്പിരിഞ്ഞു. നിന്നോടൊപ്പം ബാക്കിയുള്ളതു നിന്റെ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ മാത്രം!

ഒന്ന് ചോദിച്ചോട്ടെ, നിന്റെ ഖബറിലേക്കും പരലോകത്തേക്കും നീ കരുതി വെച്ചതെന്താണു? നീ ആഴത്തിൽ ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ട ഒരു യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമാണതു.

താഴെ പറയുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ നിതാന്ത ജാഗ്രത പുലർത്തുക:
1- നിർബന്ധ നമസ്കാരങ്ങൾ
2- സുന്നത്ത്‌ നമസ്കാരങ്ങൾ
3- സ്വൊകാര്യ ദാനങ്ങൾ
4-സൽകർമ്മങ്ങൾ
5- രാത്രി നമസ്കാരം
ഇവ നിന്റെ രക്ഷാമാർഗ്ഗം തുറന്നു തന്നേക്കാം.
ഇപ്പോൾ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നീ ഈ കുറിപ്പു കൊണ്ടു മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ബോധവൽക്കരിച്ചാൽ അതിന്റെ ഗുണഫലം അന്ത്യനാളിൽ നിന്റെ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നേടത്തു നിനക്കനുഭവപ്പെടും.

I can not be worried about the death of my body behind me. I do not give too much weight to my body which is coming to the mortality. My Muslim brothers will undergo mortality operations. Some of them include:
They will loose my prints.
I'll breathe myself
Wrapped me in feathers
And you will bring me home
I will carry myself to my new habitat, or grave. A lot of people will join in my last trip. For many people, I do not want many regular work to stop me.
Most of those works are not good friends when I was alive.
Many things that I boast of will go away from me:
My keys, my collections, my clothes and shoes, my clothes and so on and so on !! If any of my relatives are justified, then they will do something to me after death.

To be sure, a bad man will never be disturbed from my departure. Neither will I survive with my death. All the lawsuits will go on as usual. I will replace my chair with my replacement. My wealth will be legitimately acquired by the heirs. But that's why I need to calculate that riches. And heaped upon the heap. Let the nest over the dusky stem of the stalks may be remembered for me.

It's my name to die soon after my death. And the investigation is about Maya. My name will not be called. As you stand up to pray for me, I say, bring a people a lot. They do not even know my name.
