Lt Col Deepak Memorial Scholarship Fund

is pleased to announce constituting a Scholarship Fund on safe home coming of Our Hon'ble Chairman Col (Retd) Gaurav. The scholarships would be provided twice a year coinciding with the UPSC examination for entry schemes for INDIAN ARMED FORCES.

The Scholarships will be awarded in the following categories :

Late Lt Col Deepak Memorial Scholarship for :
CDSE/ SSC Aspirants Tech Graduate Schemes ( 2 Awards)

Late Major D S Malik Memorial Scholarship for :
NDA / NA Aspirants. ( 2 Awards)

Late Hav Badan Singh Meena Memorial Scholarship for :
Women Entry Schemes ( 1 Award )

Applications are invited for various Academy Courses Starting Jul 2022.

Eligibility :

The Aspirant should have cleared the respective written examination for the Academy course starting Jul 2022

The Aspirant may apply for the scholarship awaiting SERVICES SELECTION BOARD (SSB) interview either Alloted SSB batch or awaiting allotment.

The scholarship covers a four weeks fee for any coaching center providing guidance for the SSB interview nearest to the aspirants home station ( The coaching center will be vetted by the Trustees out of three choices provided by the Aspirant ). Cost of boarding and lodging will be included in the scholarship in case the aspirant is enrolled within 15km of the home address. All the payments would be directly paid to the coaching facility.

A stipend of rs 2000 monthly would be provided to the aspirant for his personal use from the date of enrollment in the coaching center till completion of the course.

With the festive month coming up The FUTGEN foundation and Trust has planned an event on the 13th of October in view of the DUSSHERA festival.

A small fair will be organised for the children so that they do not visit any crowded places looking up to the festive season.

The fair will have food stalls akin to any normal fair. Game stalls and certain rides like a small merry go round , a toy train, horse and pony rides.

All these stalls will provide eatables to the children in exchange for toy currency which will be provided by us to them to bring confidence in the children.

There will be a 10 minutes fireworks display at the end of the event (All safety precautions will be adhered and fireworks will be handled by Ex Army Personal working for the TRUST.)

The expenditure on the fair is being bourn by the Trust... Nevertheless some patrons have already stepped forward and are contributing towards it... Any contribution towards the event will be appreciated.

We are working on daily basis for help of the people who can't afford basic health care and food due to the COVID lock down.

Delivering more than 500 food packets a day at the cost of 55/- rs per packet

Arrangements for minimum 15 COVID vaccines for the people in need per day at the cost of 1300 per person including transportation to the hospital and back

In addition to this after the cyclone we are helping people in adjoining areas who live in temp hutments with tarpolines etc to repair their houses for the damage done in the cyclone each tarpoline 9mtr by 9mtr is costing 1800 and enough for two huts

We have identified 179 people in adjoining areas who are above the age of 45 and have not been vaccinated because they can't afford to and adding to the misery the rates for the vaccine have been doubled

TALEGAON which is 65km going and coming back to Lonavala plus the cost of vaccines which used to come to #570 per person has overnight become #920. Efforts are being made to get these people vaccinated at TALEGAON Average appointments secured from 30th April is 10 person per day . coordinated personally visiting concerned centers

Thanks to all these volunteers and my kitchen staff as well who are working 18 -19 hours a day to make ends meet. Education program has been temporarily suspended till 30th March due to increase in COVID cases

The FOOD PROGRAM is going on and food packets are being delivered at the kids localities. God bless them all. ...we have already served more than 5910 individual meals to the children here at lonavala

The children are being provided with constant help and studies at our location at lonavala

Books stationary for the children and even online facilities for the senior classes have being arranged.
