The Bitter Truth About Sugar.
How can something that tastes so sweet can be bad for our body? Sweet it may taste, the bitter truth is that the human body was never designed to handle the atrocities of sugar. Sugar strains the organs of the body and depletes the body of its nutrients. Sugar clogs the arteries, suppresses the immune system and stresses our pancreas.
Apart from contributing to obesity and tooth decay, sugar is charged with raising cholesterol and triglycerides and thereby causing heart disease, increasing the risk of breast cancer, raising blood pressure damaging the kidneys, causing migraine headaches, depleting the body of essential nutrients like B-complex, chromium, copper, calcium and magnesium, causing menstrual irregularities, mood swings, anxiety and depression, hypoglycemia and acidity.
