चंद्र ग्रहण काल में न करें ये काम-

1. इस दौरान किसी भी मांगलिक कार्य को नहीं करना चाहिए।
2. बीमार और बच्चो को छोड़कर सभी को व्रत रहन चाहिए। ।
3. ग्रहण समाप्त होने के बाद ही भोजन करना चाहिए। उससे पहले कभी नही।
4.गर्भवती महिलाओं को ग्रहण काल के दौरान काटने, छीलने या सिलने की मनाही होती है।
5. गर्भवती महिलाओं को ग्रहण के दौरान घर से बाहर नहीं निकलना चाहिए और न ही सोना चाहिए।
6. ग्रहण के दौरान तेल लगाना, कपड़े धोना और ताला खोलना आदि काम नहीं करने चाहिए।
7. ग्रहण के दिन जरूरतमंदों व गरीबों को दान देना चाहिए।
8. शिवलिंग पर जल चढ़ाना चाहिए और शिवमंत्रों का जाप करना चाहिए। मान्यता है कि ऐसा करने से ग्रहण का कुप्रभाव नहीं पड़ता है।
9. ग्रहण समाप्त होने के बाद मंदिर से लेकर अपने पूरे घर को गंगाजल से शुद्ध करना चाहिए।
10. ग्रहण के दिन पितरों के नाम से भी दान करना चाहिए।
