macroglossia-
Macroglossia (enlarged tongue) is a rare condition that typically affects more children than adults. People with macroglossia have tongues that are larger than typical, given the size of their mouths. Most people are born with macroglossia that can be linked to conditions such as Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome or Down syndrome. People can also develop macroglossia from some forms of cancer or severe infections. Macroglossia treatment ranges from speech therapy to surgery.

Global aphasia refers to a profound impairment of all modalities of receptive and expressive language. Individuals with global aphasia typically present with marked impairments of comprehension of single words, sentences, and conversations, as well as severely limited spoken output. Spontaneous verbal output may be restricted to single words, nonwords, or undifferentiated phonation and some individuals’ speech only consists of perseverative utterances (e.g., “no, no”). In addition, reading and writing are typically profoundly compromised. Because of the severity of language impairment, communication partners sometimes need to anticipate the communicative intentions of individuals with global aphasia or rely primarily on gestures or drawing. In most cases, both Broca’s area and Wernicke’s area are damaged (Mazzocchi & Vignolo, 1979) or functionally compromised (Hillis et al., 2004) because of occlusion or stenosis of the proximal MCA (affecting both the inferior and superior divisions) or the internal carotid artery (ICA).

Genetic hearing loss.
Genetic hearing loss can be either progressive or non-progressive. Progressive hearing loss means that the loss of hearing becomes worse or more significant over time where as in the case of non-progressive hearing loss it remains stable over time. These losses can occur in one ear or both ears. Even if hearing loss does occur in both ears, the level of hearing loss can differ between the two ears. This form of hearing loss is asymmetric hearing loss.
Genetic hearing loss can be related to other hereditary conditions passed through the genes or it may be the only issue. Genetic hearing loss manages to cover the complete range of hearing loss from a mild issue to full blown deafness. All of which means that hearing loss due to genetics can cover a wide range of hearing loss and it can affect a huge number of people.
Granulovacuolar degeneration.
Granulovacuolar degeneration (GVD) is one of the pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease (AD), and it is defined as electron-dense granules within double membrane-bound cytoplasmic vacuoles. Several lines of evidence have suggested that GVDs appear within hippocampal pyramidal neurons in AD when phosphorylated tau begins to aggregate into early-stage neurofibrillary tangles. The aim of this study is to investigate the association of GVDs with phosphorylated tau pathology to determine whether GVDs and phosphorylated tau coexist among different non-AD neurodegenerative disorders.
Functional hearing loss.
In functional hearing loss there is no detectable organic damage to the auditory pathways, but some underlying psychological or emotional problem is at fault. Functional hearing loss occurs in clinical practice more frequently than many physicians realize. This is the type of condition in which the patient does not seem to hear or to respond: yet the handicap may not be caused by any organic pathology in the peripheral or the central auditory pathways.
The hearing difficulty may have an entirely emotional or psychological etiology, or it may be superimposed on some mild organic hearing loss, in which case it is called a functional or a psychogenic overlay. Often, the patient really has normal hearing underlying the functional hearing loss. A carefully recorded history usually will reveal some hearing impairment in the patient’s family or some reference to deafness which served as the nucleus for the patient’s functional hearing loss.
2.Fluency disorders.
When you have a fluency disorder it means that you have trouble speaking in a fluid, or flowing, way. You may say the whole word or parts of the word more than once, or pause awkwardly between words. This is known as stuttering. You may speak fast and jam words together, or say “uh” often. This is called cluttering.
These changes in speech sounds are called disfluencies. Many people have a few disfluencies in their speech. But if you have a fluency disorder, you will have many disfluencies when you talk. For you, speaking and being understood may be a daily struggle.
(ENDOLYMPHATIC HYDROPS)-
Endolymphatic hydrops is a disorder of the inner ear and can affect the endolymphatic fluid of the cochlea, the vestibular apparatus, or both. Unlike Primary Endolymphatic Hydrops, Secondary Endolymphatic Hydrops (SEH) appears to occur in response to an event or underlying condition such as head trauma or ear surgery. Treatment of SEH has five goals: to stabilize the body’s fluid and electrolyte levels; to identify and treat the underlying condition that is driving the SEH; to improve daily symptoms; to manage persistent symptoms and changes; and to maintain quality of life.
(EPILESPY) ----
Epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder and affects people of all ages.
Epilepsy means the same thing as "seizure disorders."
Epilepsy is characterized by unpredictable seizures and can cause other health problems.
Epilepsy is a spectrum condition with a wide range of seizure types and control varying from person-to-person.
Public misunderstandings of epilepsy cause challenges that are often worse than the seizures.
(DIPLACUSIS)---
Diplacusis comes from the Greek words “diplous” and “akousis”, meaning double hearing. It causes the sufferer to perceive a dissonance in the pitch or timing of a sound from one ear to the other.
Diplacusis is generally a symptom of sensorineural hearing loss, and there are different types of the condition:
Diplacusis binauralis is the most common type and occurs when a person hears the same sound differently in each ear. A related sub-set of this condition is diplacusis dysharmonica, which is when a sound is heard correctly in one ear, but at a different pitch in the other. These two types of diplacusis are also sometimes known as ‘interaural pitch difference’.
Diplacusis echoica is an impairment in which the sufferer hears a sound repeated or echoed in the affected ear.
Diplacusis monauralis is when a single sound is heard as two distinct sounds in the same ear.
(DYSARTHRIA)----
Dysarthria is a speech disorder that happens because of muscle weakness. Motor speech disorders like dysarthria result from damage to the nervous system. Many neuromuscular conditions (diseases that affect the nerves controlling certain muscles) can result in dysarthria. In dysarthria, the muscles used to speak become damaged, paralyzed or weakened.

Speech and language disorders
Speech is how we say sounds and words. People with speech problems may:
not say sounds clearly
have a hoarse or raspy voice
repeat sounds or pause when speaking, called stuttering
Language is the words we use to share ideas and get what we want. A person with a language disorder may have problems:
understanding
talking
reading
writing
It sounds almost adorable when a toddler says "wabbit" instead of rabbit or "thocks" instead of socks, but those mispronunciations — known as articulation disorders — lose their cuteness if they don't go away as a child grows older.
For years, speech therapists have used tongue depressors, popsicle sticks and other objects to place a child's tongue in the proper spot to pronounce those difficult sounds.
