So we may feel sometime in the state of confusion. Social entrepreneurship perhaps provide a good balance between both of these values .....Lets demonstrate and create this as choice for a few youths who finds a vale in it

Goat milk Soap Factory exposure visit - Just 25 years back soap was a rural cottage Industry in India. Almost in every cluster of 20 to 30 villages, a local soap making unit used to thrive and employ 2 to 5 person on sustainable basis. But this important cottage industry was replaced by multinational soap, shampoo & detergents very silently.
Bath Soap, cloth cleaning soap, Shaving cream, Shampoo as part of daily use cosmetics has now every household monthly investment of Rs 250 to 1500 depending on affordability and family size. If one Farmer producer company has 1000 members, its own member Annual market will be estimated Rs 60 lakh with 10% net profits besides local employment. More than revenue, it can ensure much better quality of handmade soaps with quality chemicals. Harmful chemicals like Sodium Lauryl sulphate (SLS) which is toxic, carcinogenic, irritating for skin and eyes and may lead to organ failure is used today to show higher foaming (A preferred choice by rural soap users) and consumer education has been low.
The Goat Trust as a social enterprise has taken a mandate to ensure quality chemicals and promoting goat milk based soaps as cottage industry and looking forward for partners and sponsors to make a environmentally sustainable cosmetic products to revive this cottage industry. We know we are just a catalyst and it can be only possible if multiple actors join hands but we have to call and expose more FPC members to such sustainable enterprises
