On the last day of the festival also known as Navami (ninth day), people pray to Siddhidhatri. She has eight types of Siddhi - Anima, Mahima, Prapti, Prakamya, Garima, Laghima, Ish*tva and Vash*tva. Sitting on a lotus, she is believed to possess and bestows all types of Siddhis. 🙏

Ashtami, Durga Ashtami or Maha Ashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of Navratri. Devotees worship the eighth form of Maa Durga - Maa Mahagauri on this day. She is the symbol of purity, serenity and tranquillity. 'Gauri' also signifies that she is the daughter of Giri (mountain).
श्वेते वृषेसमारूढा श्वेताम्बरधरा शुचिः।
महागौरी शुभं दद्यान्महादेव प्रमोददा॥ 🙏

The 7th day of Navaratri is dedicated to Maa Kalratri, the 7th Avtar of Maa Durga. Here, Kaal means time and death and Kaalratri means the One who is the Death of Kaal. Maa Kalratri destroys ignorance and brings light into the dark.
ॐ कालरात्र्यै नम:। एकवेणी जपाकर्णपूरा नग्ना खरास्थिता, लम्बोष्टी कर्णिकाकर्णी तैलाभ्यक्तशरीरिणी। वामपादोल्लसल्लोहलताकण्टकभूषणा, वर्धनमूर्धध्वजा कृष्णा कालरात्रिर्भयंकरी॥ जय त्वं देवि चामुण्डे जय भूतार्ति हारिणि। 🙏
On the sixth day of Navratri, Goddess Maa Katyayani is worshipped. The prevailing belief is that Goddess Maa Katyayani is the ruler of the planet Brihaspati. According to religious texts, Goddess Parvati was born in the home of sage Katya, and hence, this form of Goddess Parvati is known as Maa Katyayani 🙏

On the fifth day of Navratri, Skandami - which means "Mother of Skanda (Kartikeya)" - is honoured. She is the fifth manifestation of Goddess Durga and represents compassion, motherhood and a heart full of love. She rides on a lion and wears yellow. Maa Skandmata has four hands, one of which holds the infant Kartikeya. 🙏

Kushmanda is worshiped on the fourth day of the festival of Navaratri (nine nights of Navadurga) and is believed to improve health and bestow wealth and strength. Goddess Kushmanda has eight hands and is thus also known as Ashtabhuja Devi.

Maa Chandraghanta – Goddess Worshipped on the third day of Navratri Her name Chandraghanta comes from the crescent moon worn by her on the head. This is a terrible aspect of Goddess Shakti and is roaring in anger.
Then Goddess Prajapati comes into existence and the unmarried state of Mata Parvati is Goddess Brahmacharini. She is worshipped on the second day of Navaratri and it is believed that Goddess Brahmacharini, who governs Lord Mangal, is known as the fortune provider.
Day 1 of Shardiya Navratri starts with worshipping goddess Shailputri. It is believed that goddess Shailputri is a reincarnation of godess Parvati. She rides a bull and carries a trident and a lotus in her two hands.
