The RLFA- Reserveline Football Academy successfully hosted the *"Super Sixes"* Football tournament for open category from April 7th to April 9th, 2023, at the Madurai RLFA's Anaiyur Branch. A total of 37 teams from all over Tamil Nadu, including those from Chennai, Thoothukudi, Kovilpatti, Rajapalayam, Gudalore, Sattur, Karaikudi, Trichy, Ilayayankudi, Madurai, and Virudhunagar.

In the first semi-final of the Youth Open Tournament, SAI Football Club, Karaikudi and Madurai RLFA Football Academy faced off. RLFA Football Academy triumphed 3-2 to go to the championship game. The Madurai Soccer Zone squad defeated the Madurai Lena 5’s Football club by 4-2 in the second semi-final to go to the Final game.

After a scoreless draw in the championship game between the RLFA Football Academy squad and the Soccer Zone team, the RLFA Football Academy team prevailed 3-2 in a penalty shootout to claim first place and the trophy.

Cash awards for Youth Open Tournament:
First Place: Rs. 20,000/- + trophy
Second-place: Rs. 15000/- +Trophy
Third Prize: Rs.10000/- + Trophy

The RLFA- Reserveline Football Academy also successfully hosted the first edition of *"Senior Super Six"* football event for players older than 40+.

*Competition for seniors (40 +)*

Madurai Stadium Friends Football Club and sattur Friends Football Club also faced off in the opening semi-final. With a 4-1 victory, Sattur Friends Football Club advanced to the Final round. The Madurai Veterans Football Club and the Kalaivanar Karaikudi Football Club faced off in the second semifinal. Madurai Veterans won this match 3-1 to advance to the final game.

Madurai Veterans and Sattur Friends Football Club squared off in the Senior (40+) Football Tournament final. The Madurai Veterans Football Club team won this match 4-1 and took home the trophy and first place.

Prize money for the competition for seniors (40+)

First Place: Rs. 5,000/- + trophy
Second-place: Rs. 3000/- +Trophy
