WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DAY

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has launched an amnesty scheme for condonation of delays in filings of documents by limited liability partnership (LLP) firms. The LLP Settlement Scheme, 2020, has came into force on April 1, 2020 and shall remain in operation till September 30, 2020. During the period, there would be one-time condonation on belated documents which were due for filing till August 31, 2020, with the Registrar. Also, to reduce the burden on LLPs, the additional fee has been waived off for delay in filing documents as against the earlier practice of Rs.100 for each day of delay.
