2000 -2001 with three batches ie Two Science (Biology), one Humanities (Statistics). In the
year 2002 it broadened its strength with three additional batches ie Computer science,
Sociology and Commerce respectively. At Higher secondary level there are around 800
students. There is a strength of 150 staff in the school who monitor and foster the needs and
aspirations of the young learners. To cop with the present curriculum, the school has setup
an I T lab which is said to be one of the best I T labs in the state. School’s digital library and
language lab are yet another ventures that all set to start functioning shortly. The school has
coveted track records both at curricular and co- curricular level to testify its name and fame. The district Panchayat trophy to honour schools with highest pass percent in the district has
been with PPMHSS for the last 9 years. The consistency of proud achievements at higher
secondary level adds laurels to the overall fame of the school. Dr. Mohiyidheen evorollig
trophy sponsored by the state Arabic unit of Public Education given to the school having the
highestpercentwith Arabic as the first language was another recognition the school can feel
proud of. The staff of the school are committed to render dedicated service to the students. Former
Head Master K. Khassim was chosen for the State Level Award for the best Teacher in 1996,
and
K.P. Ahammed (Head Master) received National Award for the teachers with excellent and
dedicated service. The school has a unique record of bagging the overall championship in almost all extra
curricular activities in the Malappuram Educational District. In science fair the school
bagged the credit of being the best science school at state level in 2000. In the year 2003, the
school reiterated its towering presence in curricular activities by snatching the overall
championships in Malappuram Education District fair for Science, Mathematics and Social
Science. The students represented the school and got prizes in South Indian Science Fair held
in Shimogo, Salem, Pondicheery and so on. The prizes that the students won at National
