Recently made bronze Archaic Greek cuirass for a client according to their specific details like side rings and chains system.

This cuirass is made of bronze 1.2mm pure sheet of alloy which is 88% copper and 12% tin composition. We have made this cuirass in 2 pcs join together and then welded. Relatively small size of arm and neck openings, and in subtle differences in the perception of ideal musculature. Many Greek cuirasses are also profusely decorated, and some extend deeply toward the groin, which are features not shown on the model pictured but are available. Our cuirass is also available in low-zinc brass, with silver trim, with pteryges, with moulded edge trim, etc.

This intimidating Gladiatorial Helm is crafted from 18 gauge brass and it prominently features a cast brass Medusa on its front. The faceplate and neckguard are modifiable; the grill faceplate is secured with top rings and swivel pins and can be removed, leaving the throat guard in place. Additionally, the throat plates can be removed by unscrewing them from the screws which are camouflaged as the brass studs on the side of the helmet.



The interior of the helmet is unlined but we’ll add a padding cap with the helm.

The Waterloo Helmet is a pre-Roman Celtic bronze ceremonial horned helmet with repoussé decoration in the La Tène style, dating to circa 150–50 BC, that was found in 1868 in the River Thames by Waterloo Bridge in London, England. It is now on display at the British Museum in London.

The helmet is made from brass sheet with hundreds of hand-made rivets, enamel-covered plate and fine repoussé decoration.

The original Waterloo helmet is made from bronze material and we also offer bronze as mentioned in the variation of the helmet.

While no trace of a lining remains in the original helmet, rivets around the helmet’s lower margin would accommodate one, so we offer an integral deerskin liner for those who want one. The helmet comes with a pair of chin ties attached to the side loops.

The helmet's crown is made of 6 individual parts (spangen). The jowl pieces are easily moveable. The nape protection is attached with two buckled leather straps and is removable and adjustable. The helmet is hand-made from steel and brass and is comfortable due to its leather inlay. Nasal, jowel and nape pieces are covered with red leather on the inside.

This Deurne Roman Cavalry Helmet made high quality reproduction of an original bronze Roman Cavalry helmet found in a bog at Deurne in Holland. Made of brass and features intricate detailing. This Late Roman Deurne Helmet is constructed from brass plates with brass-riveted construction. The cheekplates and neckplate are both hinged with integrated leather straps. The cheekplates are edged in leather and the entire interior of the helmet is lined with tight leather for cushion and comfort. An internal suspension of leather can be adjusted to modify the fit of the helmet to the head. Due to the hand-made nature of this item, slight differences in size and finish can be expected, making it a truly unique one of a kind collector's piece.

Greek Linothorax Cuirass worn by Greek Hoplites

Product Details:-

This recreation of Greek Linothorax cuirass is made from thick and durable high quality leather with exterior panels of linen which are finely stitched into place. This composite construction quite ably reconstructs the appearance and thickness of the Linothorax without incurring the difficult stiffness that comes from utilizing numerous layers of linen and glue. This also gets past the problem of the glued linen armor weakening when humid or wet weather weaken the bonds created by glues.

The chest of the armor has a large medallion of a Gorgon which is crafted from antiqued brass and stoutly riveted into place. The leather skirt Pteruges are durably stitched and integrated with the armored cuirass on both sides. The armor is worn by lacing it on the sides and shoulders with thick cords through brass rings and then adjusted to fit by tightening and loosening lacing as needed.

The Linothorax cuirass was a very common armor worn by Greek Hoplites and it was also extensively used by the Macedonian soldiers of Alexander the Great and the Etruscans of the Italic Peninsula. No examples survive so all details of this armor come from ancient art and references in literature. It us unknown whether the armor was mainly linen or whether the linen was just one material used in an overall composite which may also have included large amounts of leather.

The calcei apparently was a closed shoe. The upper is almost always cut in one part, closed at the front.

A number of comparatively well-preserved finds of this type have been found in Mainz and dated to the 1st century AD.

Based on a helmet that formed the basis of Robinson’s “Imperial Gallic D” type, our model relies on early photos and reports of the original helmet, which was all but destroyed in 1945. The helmet has been reproduced as we imagine it to have looked when new, rather than with the replacement parts that the Gallic D was discovered with. It features 15 brass rosettes with enamelled rivets, roped brass edge trim, inlay on the brow reinforce, and a carefully replicated brass band across the brow and crust for the feathers.
