And when I say "scarcity", I mean that there's only a limited time for something.

Here's the deal:

When you create a sense of urgency in your messaging, you're more likely to get a response.

If you're selling a product, use scarcity by:

- Setting a deadline for when the product will no longer be available
- Limiting the number of products available

If you're trying to book clients, use scarcity by:

- Setting a deadline for when your service will be available next or when you will be ready to onboard the next batch
- Establishing a limit on the number of clients you can take on

The point is:

Don't be afraid to say that there's a limited time to take advantage of something.

Sometimes it's better to be upfront about it.

It creates a sense of urgency, adds value to what you're offering, and shows that you're in demand.

It's a crowded market out there.

Everyone is vying for the attention of the same clients.

So, how do you stand out from the crowd?

You need to be different.

You need to be the purple cow ๐Ÿ„

If you're not familiar with the term, it's from the book by Seth Godin.

In it, he explains that if you're driving down the road and see a cow, you don't think anything of it.

But, if you see a purple cow, well, that's something different.

The same goes for your business.

You need to be the purple cow in your industry.

Find what makes you unique and different.

It could be your offer or could be the strategy

It could be relying more on posting content and fewer DMs or the other way around

Whatever it is that you feel is giving you the best results as per data, Lean into that.

Here's a list of all the mistakes I made this year and how you can avoid them.

Only 2 days left before 2023 ends and today I wanted to share with you a post that talks about the mistakes I made this year, that can potentially benefit someone from committing them to their business too

While some of these mistakes that I am sharing today are also at a personal level, I also feel that they indirectly affected the business a lot if not directly so it is crucial to highlight them here:

โŒ Mistake # 1: Not having a Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly, Action Plan and instead working purely based on Weekly and Daily Action plans. This supports very well for the short term but not for achieving your bigger long-term goals

โŒ Mistake # 2: Not prioritizing Quality Content Production seriously and falling prey to distractions easily

โŒ Mistake # 3: Not focusing on Sales & Income Producing Activities more and instead getting comfortable running 'day-to-day operations'

โŒ Mistake # 4: Not having a clear Financial Budget Allocation Plan for the total Cash Collected and spending most of it on overheads, unforeseen personal expenses, and unplanned business costs.

โŒ Mistake # 5: Wasting at least 1 hour per day on Social Media Endless scrolling, and looking at others' success eventually made me feel anxious and low on confidence.

โŒ Mistake # 6: Not acting upon my Ideas faster and instead pondering over them for weeks and months and eventually, not executing them due to overthinking.

โŒ Mistake # 7: Completely falling off track from my Daily Routine of reading, meditating, working out, regularly, and giving in to short-term pleasures.

โŒ Mistake # 8: Not Praying regularly, offering my gratitude and thank you to the Lord for everything he has given me and instead feeling ungrateful most days.

โŒ Mistake # 9: Stopped learning new skills even after investing in courses and coaching and leaving most things incomplete.

โŒ Mistake # 10: Last but not the least, Not Pushing at my maximum best to acquire and help as many new clients as possible daily and instead, feeling content in working with a few.

Despite all these mistakes, I was lucky to make $100k in Total Cash Collected this year from my Appointment Setting Agency

The only aim for next year would be to not repeat them all over again and focus on giving my 100% best to scale at least 2-3X more than this year.

Following up.

It's easy to feel disheartened.

Clients want to work with people who follow up.

So, don't give up after the first interaction.

Follow up.
