Namaste. I am Shruti Suresh, a practicing yoga teacher since 2014.
I have experienced the joy that yoga adds to life and I would love to share my understanding, knowledge and expertise on the subject to help you in your journey.
3 weeks of crazy schedule of 14+ work hours each day, watching, learning, processing so many new concepts and techniques, being sleep deprived and dozing off in class. Inspite of all this, still taking out time to go for food tours, gurudwara and long drives, sharing meals together, dancing to learn about muscle movements, and enjoying music shows at the centre, it's been one hell of a ride! So glad to have shared this funfilled and enlightening journey with all of you. Couldn't have found a better bunch to share this experience with. Here's to becoming the best yoga therapists in town and changing lives one patient at a time! Thank you

P.S - Today felt so incomplete without your smiling faces and our usual morning hugs. You all made everything better with your sheer presence. I am grateful for everything in my life that led me towards yoga. This practice is so much more than the fancy poses.It is a practice where you learn to pause, to just be, to breathe, to listen to your body, to stop the constant comparison, to be kind to yourself, to let go. It's about the experiences on the mat, that teach you a thing or two about life. The more you obsess about a pose, the more it might evade you. You learn to persevere. You learn to be resilient. And then one day, when you least expect it, the pose comes to you.
I truly believe that yoga is for everyone. If you think that yoga is "not your thing", think again. Maybe you haven't found a practice that works for you or maybe you haven't had the right guidance. I know so many students who never tried it due to some preconceived notions and when they finally did, they immediately fell in love with it. So keep looking!
Yoga has the power to change our lives. As you keep practicing you'll become more aware of your immense potentials. You'll probably realise that Yoga is Magic. YOU are Magic. You've always been but you just couldn't see it.

I am genuinely grateful for having the opportunity to learn and teach this beautiful practice. I believe the process of learning never stops. Every time you step on your mat, you discover a little something about yourself. And so I'll always be a student first, and then a teacher.
Yoga has changed me and my life for the better. Each student that I've worked with has helped me learn and grow immensely. Their journey, their progress, their sharing and their feedback motivates me to stay on the path and do even better. The joy of knowing that I've been an instrument in making someone's life a little happier, healthier and calmer is indescribable.

I am Shruti Suresh. I am a practising yoga teacher since 2014. I have done my 900hr TTC from The Yoga Institute Santacruz. I've also done a 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa TTC from Ashtanga Yoga Mysore.
When I had started yoga it was merely as a pass time. Eventually I started liking it and decided on pursuing it as a career. Yoga is a beautiful gift to the world. Yoga is for everyone and everyone can gain something from Yoga. It is about asanas and pranayam, but that's not all. It has so much to offer that the possibilities are limitless. Yoga helps you grow, it helps you heal, it helps you to let go... The benefits of a yoga practice is endless, all it needs is for you to show up on your mat. Just take it one breath at a time and I promise you that your life will change for the better. It's not just about who you are on the mat, but it also transforms you off the mat. It'll bring you peace, joy, health, and happiness and always leave you feeling better.
So I urge you to come and give Yoga a chance, your life will never be the same again!
