The peachy korat linen is a wear which can be worn and adorned with in any season. The color is so bright that it will brighten your day during the festival. Do you wanna know about Stitchy Saturdays?

This is a sneak peek to our black Kantha embroidery on White pure Bangalore Silk.
It is used as a lightweight shawl or a scarf during those pleasant wintry mornings when winter is not yet omnipresent.
This is a handwoven silk fabric over which the Kantha weaving has been done meticulously.
Our brilliant weavers are making these work of art with skill and care.

Origins
It is a centuries-old tradition of stitching patchwork cloth from rags, which evolved from the thrift of rural women in the Bengali region of the sub-continent - today the eastern Indian states of West Bengal and Orissa, and Bangladesh. Kantha quilts were the first gifts to a newborn baby by her mother and grandmothers. Now, rags get replaced by fresh new fabrics which include cotton and silk.

The technique of creation of a chikan work is known as chikankari. Chikan is a delicate and artfully done hand embroidery on a variety of textile fabrics like muslin, silk, chiffon, organza, net, etc. White thread is embroidered on cool, pastel shades of light muslin and cotton garments.
Originated in Nawabi Shehar Lucknow, regality oozes out of Chikankari wearables. With a monochrome Chikankari, an indigo dupatta adds color to your entire look. Top it up with a Silver Jhumka and you are good to go.
