We are a retail e-commerce enterprise from India and a seller on Amazon Global North America FBA. We have come across an issue with a customer return on November 11, 2023. While the customer got the refund by stating "Damaged by fulfiller". We raised a query regarding the return reason and refund reason through CASE ID: 14339548011 with the subject "Refund Initiation Reason for 112-8570752-5567455". The response from your executive is:

"08:14 AM Shovan The buyer requested a refund and our system approved the refund. After the return if the item is sellable then it will be added back to your inventory otherwise you will get a reimbursement.
08:14 AM Shovan Allow at least 60 days from the date of refund for the item to be returned to your inventory or reimbursed if eligible based on the reimbursement policy."

The refund initiation happened on November 21, 2023. The 60 days have not yet been completed.

I received another email on January 5, 2023, with the subject "Final notice: Disposal order for your unfulfillable FBA inventory" stating that the disposal order has been created.
When we went into the details, we found that Amazon has stated that the product is CUSTOMER DAMAGED and unsellable. Moreover, the removal order was created with any notification to us. The email also stated that the item was lying there for more then 14 days. Why weren't we notified earlier.

I raised another query requesting for reimbursement as well as to share the images of the damaged product through CASE ID: 14581303551 and 14603310741.
Not only did they deny reimbursement, but also they didn't share the images.

Giving up, I raised another query that the disposal order type be modified to the Return type through case id: 14609033281 with the subject "Modify Order type from Dispose to Return to Address for Removal Order id xo156z5427". The response was shocking.

"Units that are not in sellable condition, not listed for sale, or are otherwise unsuitable for fulfillment with FBA are subject to disposal if you fail to direct us to the return or dispose of them within 14 days of initial notification.

We previously notified you of the units that were unsuitable by sending initial and follow-up reminder e-mails to the primary e-mail address associated with your seller account. We have arranged for the disposal of these units as we have not received instructions to return them within 30 days of the initial notice. Your account will be charged for the disposal of these units according to the FBA removal order fees."

No notifications were received except the final notification.

Nobody is ready to share the image of the damaged product, not ready to reimburse, not ready to return.

What is going on Amazon.com? What are your trying to hide?
