With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner, we are back with our flagship event of Eco-friendly Ganesha. NSS IIT Bombay in collaboration with IDC presents to you the 21st edition of the Eco-friendly Ganesha workshop to create awareness and encourage people to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in an eco-friendly way so that it does not harm the environment. In this workshop, you will get a chance to make your own Ganesha idol and take it along with you to your own room or wing and worship. World Population Day is today! Today, we honour the lengths people will go for family and love. There is no issue with population. Our biggest asset it is.
We should be concerned about a growing population since it is expanding exponentially while resources are expanding arithmetically. Let's collaborate to increase awareness in order to reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies worldwide. Force cannot be used to control your own population, but consumption can divert it..
International Plastic Bag Free Day, celebrated on July 3, is a global initiative that aims to eliminate the use of plastic bags. Every year, this day is observed to create awareness about the threat caused by plastic pollution to the natural environment, be it land or marine life.
Plastic is everywhere and its quantity increases every day. To reduce this plastic, we have found a certain innovation of engineer's.
The tranquil, forbidding forest has the charm of a lost, forgotten land. We, the NSS IITB team, celebrates "Vanmahotsav" for a week from July 1 to July 7 in order to raise awareness among our society and highlight the value of forests.
