AUTOMATIC BLISTER PACKING MACHINE BLISTRIP-II
1.0 GENERAL WORKING PRINCIPLE.
BLISTRIP - II is an automatic blister packing machine mainly utilised for packing of smaller and regular shaped solid articles such as pharmaceutical tablets, capsules, dragees etc., in blister packs. The Blister Forming, Product Feeding and Sealing operations are continuous by rotary motion while the indexing and punching operations are of intermittent reciprocating motion.
The output capacity of the machine depends on the product characteristics and thus on the type of feeding device. In case of slightly curved or flat tablets upto 10mm dia an output of 300 packs per minute for BLISTRIP - II can be optimally achieved.
The packing materials namely PVC film and the lidding material namely Aluminum foil (or Glassine Paper foil) with heat sealable VMCH lacquer are required for blister packing and are drawn off from reel stock. The blister packs which are punched out from main web can either be collected in bins or transferred over a conveyor belt for further handling. The trim waste is sheared off in small pieces to allow easy disposal.

CAPSULE POLISHER With Half Filled Capsule Sorter as an Option
This machine can be placed in such a way as to receive capsules directly from the discharge chute of a capsule filling machine. As the capsules are fed into the polishing chamber from the in feed hopper, the spiral brush pushes the capsules towards the delivery chute against the force of gravity. During this process, the capsules undergo a rubbing action against the nylon bristles and surface powder gets removed. The continuous rubbing action of capsules against the rotating brush ensures complete polishing of capsules.
This Capsule Polisher machine uses rotating brush principle to clean capsules on continuous basis.
• All the components coming in contact with capsules are in SS or approved materials. The polishing chamber is of SS and lined with nylon net.
• The polishing chamber inclination can be adjusted to suit the formulation.
• Provision of compressed air for cleaning nylon brush.
• The polishing chamber is to be connected to a dust collector to suck de-dusted powder from the polishing chamber. This helps improving the polishing quality.
• No change parts are required for different size of capsules.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
1.0 GENERAL WORKING PRINCIPLE
ALBLIS-I is a versatile ‘Flat Plate’ intermittent motion automatic blister packing machine that can produce Alu-Alu blister packs by cold forming method as well as PVC-Alu blister packs by thermoforming method. This machine is utilized for packing of smaller and regular shaped solid articles such as pharmaceutical tablets, capsules, dragees etc., in Alu-Alu or PVC-Alu blister packs. This machine can also be used for packing of Ampoules, Vials, Tubes as well as cream. paste, jam etc in PVC-Alu blister packs. The Blister Forming, Sealing, Indexing and Punching operations are of intermittent reciprocating motion. Various types and styles of product feeding devices are offered to suit different application.
The output capacity of the machine depends on the product characteristics and thus on the type of feeding device. Normally for cold forming operation to produce Alu-Alu blisters this machine would operate at 25 cycles per minute and for thermoforming operation to produce PVC-Alu blisters it would operate at 30 cycles per minute.
The packing materials namely cold forming laminated Aluminium foil or thermoforming PVC film and the lidding material namely Aluminium foil (or Glassine Paper foil) with heat sealable VMCH lacquer are required for blister packing and are drawn off from reel stock. The blister packs, which are punched out from main web, can either be collected in bins or transferred over a conveyor belt for further handling. The trim waste is wound on a roll for easy disposal.The standard configuration of machine is for producing of Alu-Alu blisters suitable for pharmaceutical tablets, capsules, dragees etc. The standard configuration may be opted out or can be combined with other configurations.
