In the book “Ms. How and Me”, Dr Desai has shared the amazing endeavours of a pair of school leaders, who are also the only teachers, at a school in a rural-urban setting. This is a Zilla Parishad Marathi medium school in Usarghar, a small village in Maharashtra where has helped realize in their school.

You will find details of Prakash Patil and Nivrutti Manbhav’s using the to serve the children of poor farmers and labourers by providing exciting pathways to learning. They have outlined practical and effective strategies to to learning in a . Our visit to this school and interactions with the teachers and their students left me very hopeful about the future of Inclusive education, and epitomised the good old saying “Where there is a will, there is a way”. This chapter was originally written in the Marathi language by Patil and Manbhav, with a translation in English, both versions of which you will find in your copy of “Ms. How & Me”.
