Challenges, danger, trials and tribulations – these seemingly menacing situations are actually the breakthrough points for our courage to bloom. Learning to look beyond the threats, the pettiness and yes; even the failures is what strengthens and builds us. GOD’s word truly is comfort, and an ever present help in our times of trouble. Embracing it sustains and empowers us to surge ahead despite the storms with and within.

The Restoration Series: Between 2010 and 2014, I experienced deep healing and restoration in various spheres of my life, and this has challenged me to bring out the best from what is commonly ‘discarded’. Thus was born the “Restoration Series”, in which I have started to experiment with various reused mediums – ranging from wood to an assortment of recycled board/ corrugated paper. The paintings of this series have continued even today, and are an outcome of me getting more acquainted with what my CREATOR does best – taking something rejected and making it into a unique production.
